@Camido2003 Dude, you don't know who you're dealing with. I'm a real musician, not just a button-pusher: I could write something better than this, program it, then play it on real drums, write a string arrangement for it, and then conduct the whole, real orchestra. This shit here is NOTHING.
Ladies and gentlemen, everything that is wrong with modern music is contained in this video. Please pay attention. I'd love to rid the world of this no-talent bullshit.
Does anyone know where i can get the crack from? Hahaha only kidding. I shall be buying this like all my other software. I get a rather nifty upgrade from Guru for about £70 or £80. Next few weeks... Can't wait - FXpansion are an awesome company. Liked the video too..........
Are there programs that allow me to put in some mp3, have the program analyze the timing patterns (atleast withing a selected section) with millisecond accuracy, then allow me to play drums close but not perfect and have the program, within buffer size interval re-align the played midi in real time to output similarly timed midi as the pattern in the mp3. So if I was like 9 ms off beat and the midi buffer size was 10 ms, it could move my note hit 9 ms ealier to match the section.
@fourbarposer you are kidding are you not???? this is a joke isnt it?? cuz i thought everyon in the world had heard of ableton live, and midi quantize recording settings.
@Imhoteption Any 1.x updates will be free. If and when it comes, Geist 2 would be a paid upgrade, but we have a history of releasing many free updates before major upgrades (Guru is now at 1.6, BFD2 is at 2.2 etc)
Embarrassingly atrocious. Yeah, keep playing that "rock'n'roll guitar", son.
Compare this to NI's videos...yes, they're "polished" (?) but at least they always clearly do two things: 1) show clearly what the product does and/or what's new; 2) sound good (meaning, the products are put to creative use)
I would have preferred to see a "polished" video of whats new on Geist compared to Guru since its not very clear the new features and Im not into this tune at all.
I'm glad to see that you will be able to trigger each successive slice with individual pads on your controller as you slice. Surprisingly a lot of software overlooks that. Still hoping to see time compression/expansion options.
Funny how they use all these old analog synths rather than their own soft synths.... I think there is a message in there somewhere :D

Ist just easier and faster to just play the new line in the keyboard rather than slice a previous line to create a new one??

sounds like he is playing macarena on the keyboard.

@djstingyneedles It's a Numark hybrid deck. Sound is coming off CD (you can see in the side of the deck) controlled by the turntable platter.
