  • Hey guys watch this!

  • first i was saying wow russians are piece of mind! then im like oh no just another failure. . .

  • i thought this was gonna be a successful take off...surprise!

  • hes tryin to bully the waves but the waves is more powerful than the russian guy inside :D

  • @theeltea

  • love this, would of been ok if he dident try be a smart-ass

  • Boating: Ur doin it wrong.

  • why the hell would they try and take off there?

  • @dh0wnage Training excercise.

  • RIP to that crew member who drowned

  • little further, littler further. NO U WENT TOO FAR!!!!!!!

  • dude i can that in GTA 4. and thats weird how the character in GTA 4 is russian.

  • @payton6600 Niko Bellic isn't Russian at all. :) Do your research. :)

  • @theeltea oh sorry lol i didnt know :\

  • In soviet Russia helicopter crashes you

  • Ludi Rusi jeb'o majku svoju :D

  • holy mother of all tits thats some crazy shit!

  • Typical Russians...

  • @frontiergame One failure doesn't matter, so what about you - typical idiot.

  • @GarryRUS it's just a joke man

  • @frontiergame, it didn't seem like joke, man. it looks like you think that you are smarter than russians.

  • @GarryRUS Well... to be fair, Russians ARE shooting up concoctions of codeine, gasoline, paint thinner, hydrochloric acid, and phosphorus...

  • @sprusty ,didn't catch u..What does it mean, what for did u write this chemicals? Is it catch phrase or u mean pollution?

  • @GarryRUS Krokodil.

  • Probably failure of one (or more) engine(s) after takeoff. We can see clearly the abnormal main rotor blades bending up due to loss of RPMs.

  • only chinook can land on water

  • @NOUMAN905 - WRONNNG! Mi-14 is built to do this (properly, so it can take off again). Chinook is not built to do this.

  • the advantage of this chpper is when it crashes into water it will float =P

  • I'm not sure i would call that a "take off"..

  • NOOO! i left my wallet in there

  • in soviet russia, helicopter lands you.

  • hmmm... in russia it is ordinary landing

  • Ё...™!

  • Holy f*** did they get out OK?

  • Looks like someone moved the stick in the wrong direction....

  • wow...what an idiot

  • Russian Mi-8 can't Take off from water :)))

  • @jenarbey yes it can.

  • @hellagesoon i seee :)))))

  • @jenarbey what you see is crash.

  • @jenarbey copter can do. but not any pilot can do it. wrong pilot here.

  • don't be bitch, be Russian ^^

  • he should have played gta4

  • Jesus is the pilot okay?

  • @pussbuketnott06 IIRC, the pilot survived.

  • @theeltea

    Cool that's fine.

  • pilot is idiot..he supose to turn off the engine and wait for rescue...

  • @juliancro This was a training excercise, the engine has failed on subsequent take-off. And don't call someone an idiot if you don't understand the narration.

  • @theeltea yes of course..the whole cabin went under the water and pilot(s) still push the gas..ok..never mind..i hope pilots ok...

  • @11chicco11 Pushed the gas? Mind telling me where the "gas" is?

  • @11chicco11 I believe the pilot didn't surivive if I remember the accident correctly...

  • Good For You! :P

  • thats a mi-14

  • @FlorisMiG21 Yup. A Mil-14 Haze to be exact ;)

  • @AirRecceDeclan What are the major differences? It seems like they're cosmetically similar. Is the Haze just a water variant, or what?

  • @Wellwellwellwell1 The Haze (Mil-14) has a boat hull, plus the 'scaffolding' landing gear struts are replaced with a solid 'float'. It is rather different in appearance to the Hip (Mil-8/17).

  • @FlorisMiG21 Not anymore

  • ops

  • In Soviet Russia, Water Drink YOU!

  • @MrSpongeycake hahahahaha... Soviet Russia... hahahaha...

    Such country doesn't exist.

  • well that went well.....

  • for a moment i thought it was going to take off

  • fail

  • Infact, someone died in this crash...

  • Well any idiot would know that a spinning propeller is not something you want to get anywhere near water.

  • Holy Shit.... but that would never Happen in a Huey or a Sea King that sand for good ole American Quality!!!

  • @TheHCDRUMMER You know a Huey cannot land/take off on water, right? And that going full retard can land(no pun intended) a Sea King in the same position, right?

  • the voice says that`s cause of engine failure.

  • @new1ru engine failure wouldnt cause the pilot to overcompensate and bring the rotor head too far forward, this was all the pilots fault.

  • @Corsair857

well, if you think you wouldn't make such a mistake, you can make your way to a guinness records or something. no offence, just my mind.

  • @Corsair857 He wasn't overcompensating, the nose started digging in the waves and he couldn't correct it, imo.Probably had his cyclic pulled all the way back. Sea conditions contributed to the accident.

  • There goes them damn Russian with their damn helicopters:)

  • @xUBERxG3RMAN Damn russian? DId they do something bad to you?

  • @theeltea They occupied my country (Czechoslovakia) in 1968. We will never forget !

  • @hotototro Really?

  • @theeltea Engine failure

  • @theeltea Do the words Cold War mean anything to you?

  • @sprusty They do, but Cold War ended with the Carribean crisis. You have another opinion, perhaps?

  • @theeltea It also divided Germany for decades. Given that the other guy had some Teutonic reference in it, I would say it's not far-fetched for him to have some kind of personal connection with Germany.

  • @theeltea Yes they did.Ask all the east european countries who suffer because Russia impose the communism by force.Next time stay in your country respect other nations and people will not say ''Damn russians" or worst

  • @razvi01 Dude, I go to the eastern european countries every week, namely Poland, Latvia & Lithuania. The only country where people are somewhat hostile is Lithuania, BUT, all of the buildings in their capital city Daugavpils were built in the Soviet era. The trams, buses and other public transport is also from the Soviet era. It has been more than 2 decades. These people should have flourished under the EU, like Latvia. But they didn't. So they are just bitching & moaning...

  • @theeltea no:)

  • That is on mistake u dont wanna do.Shoulda known fly up b4 forward lol

  • that thing did not take off

  • i think its a mil mi 14

  • I'd being shitting my pants. I hope they were okay.

  • Damn Helo you scary.....!!!

  • he maybe thinks that's just a T-O-Y a RC helicopter that can easily be control.......

  • well thats a noob heli driver in bc2

  • crazy

  • hahaha nice!

  • this is a rescue chopper. it lands on water pick up people and take off.

narator said it had engine problem when he took off first time and fall down again

then the pilot tryed to take off and crashed.

  • sleeping with the fishes

  • yeah

  • Two hours surgery, to remove the seat fabric out of his ass after that...

  • i was upset when i saw that...

  • That's actually a Mi-14, a navy modification of the original army Mi-8.

  • is the pilot ok?

  • I think he lost his temper. He should have let the bird gain some stability on the water then pull it up gently.

Keeping cool in this situation is not easy but is the only solution.

  • pilot error

  • FAIL!

  • that's how Russians wash their Helicopters! but some times they fail tho

  • The first thing that came to my mind was Squidward getting hit in the face by krabby patty meat from a fan...

  • In an advanced country, we feel happy when people from other country die.

  • @usmc7thmarines21 yea it does!!

  • :/ Hope they made it out ok

  • @KingKrabb999 nope they drowned

  • From the looks of it he was attempting to take off into the wind as he was loosing speed he pitched forward which sealed his faith cause then a massive body of water developed hence blocking him but there was still lift so the tail lift sent him flying

  • @TheTurtleaddict "sealed his fate", you mean?

  • anyone know why he did this :/

  • Cock suckers playing with water, let me tell u don't mess with water............

  • i hopoe the crew was okay, and poor mi-8 too.. dont mess with water folks

  • @MrEricenriquez sorry they died

  • He out of CONTROL because he think he is Chuck Norris!

  • too much vodka !!!

  • nice to know russian helis float

  • Hopefully the crew didn't get hurt too badly

  • @thecow777

    What crew?

    A professional one you mean?

I thought a housewife was at the stick!

  • @thecow777 oh um they were severly hurt and drowned in the crash

  • that diden't look like a take off

  • Mi-8? It looks like an Mi-14.

  • 0:28 AND HEEERREE COMESS THE FAILL

  • Should have given lots of positive collective and then some cyclic input.

  • pure russians .. :D

  • dumb ass pilot. should not have gone forward what an idiot

  • TRANSFORMERS!!!

  • This is not a Mi-8 but an Mil Mi-14

  • his engine failure has occurred. when you run the blades touched the water.

  • @HomeJahStation Superb engine failure. As the pilot accelerated while the nose was dived in, he was assuming to overpower all the weight and resistance of the water on the nose.... He failed to use his brain during this maneuver.

  • KOOL TAKE OFF EVER ! hehe...............

  • Yep should have turned off the rotors and stepped out to be picked up by a boat . epic fail

  • I <3 russian take offs!

  • God dammit i told u to stay away from the vodka

  • I knew the chopper was just going to break itself apart when the blades hit a big wave or started to hit the water surface, why would they need to try this...common sense says it wont work.

  • @CynosuralTheory It wasn't a test, the engine failed.

  • With all do respect, but it is not MI-8 but MI-14. MI-8 isn't able to land on the water

  • Lot of torque.

  • In soviet Russia youTube comments on you

  • that had to suck. it's always sad to watch a fellow helo crew go down.

  • its almost impossible to open the doors underwater

  • @Vorox144 But since one side of the helo was floating above water, they didn't have to worry about that, provided they got out before it sank, which should be at least five minutes, being designed for water-use like that. (Yes, I imagine that's it's only the bottom of the chopper that's sealed, but the upper half should be pretty tight as well.

  • Misleading title... The dude never takes off..

  • WHOOPS

  • oops!

  • This clip should be named...

    'Helicopter car was goes wrong'.

  • ooooo well one less russian. ill take it as a win

  • All on board died, if any of your were curious.

  • @MoziIIa4000 source please

  • This video supposed to be fake! Russians cannot fail!

  • DANG I FELT THIS WHY AREN'T PEOPLE TRYING TO SAVE HIM IS HE / THEY OK???? :(

    I HATE SEEING UNFORTUNATE EVENTS

  • @NAVYWIFEONE well for one....it was only 15 seconds after he crashes...im sure they were mobilized and headign towards the crash

  • @SEALTEAM7bm DID HE GET KILLED? I HOPE NOT BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THERE WAS A SAFE HAVEN FOR THEM OR ESCAPE ROUTE

I AM SURELY SADDEN :( BY THIS TRAGEDY

  • @NAVYWIFEONE i think the pilot died here

  • @NAVYWIFEONE I think your CAPS key may be sticking....

  • @justforever96 nahhhh I am just half blind =0(

  • is that rile

  • @ultimateflashpoint Sir, may I remind you that you failed to spell RUSSIAN, and that the Russians whooped the ass of the following: The Germans, partially the Italians, and more. The Russians took down the fighting force America couldn't handle alone on top of fighting Japan. So, if it weren't for Russia, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be here due to the fact that the Nazis would've probably killed your grandparents after taking over the world, had the Russians not stopped them. U Jelly nao?

  • Haha, another Rushin fail. Maybe one of these days they will pull their heads out of their assholes.

  • @ultimateflashpoint "Rushin"? Seriously? It appears that you're the one with his head in his pooper.

  • @Porschephile911 That was intentional you stupid fuck.

  • @ultimateflashpoint Well, aren't you hardcore? If saying it was intentional makes you feel better about yourself, go right ahead.

  • So then he had a chance there to save the chopper from sudden dismantelment by just putting the collective down and chopping the power when he first buried the nose in the water. Classic! So there's pilot error all over this, could this have been vodka related?

  • @hardwirecars he should have been ok if he had the igniters on unless there was fuel contamination. He's in a pretty strong quartering crosswind which is why his tail's swinging around with the resultant down wash blanking out the TR, so that wouldn't cause ring state although it kind of looks like ring state, but he sure is pulling the collective out of the floor on the way down! Maybe it was a hover auto from way too high. What else?
