@LOKISlog7 : can't be a tribute act when the 2 primary bandmembers are still in the band. they did most of the work in the 70's so it's really not that different now except a lot more input and effort put in by the drummer and lead guitarist. and not to mention no peter bitching about his songs being rejected and those songs had no business being on a kiss album to begin with. get real people. the kiss world doesn't revolve around ace and peter.
Honestly, I'm not as excited this time around. With Ace and Peter gone the music isn't what it used to be. Eric singer is a great drummer and Tommy is a good guitarist, but Tommy will NEVER become what Ace ever was and or is. and Eric simply isn't Peter. The last decent album was Psycho Circus (in my opinion anyway) and after Sonic Boom, I'm not holding my breath for my favorite band in the god damned world anymore. Bring it back to Destroyer or at least try replacing Tommy with Bruce lmao.
@fifis677 : are you kidding me? destroyer? i have destroyer ranked #4 of the first 6 kiss studio albums. and guess what? ace wasn't as big a part on destroyer as you numbnuts seem to believe. dick wagner played lead guitar on 2 songs because ace refused to come back into the studio and redo them. ezrin hated his solos so he got someone else to do them. you people really need to get the facts before you start shooting crap out of your mouths!!!!

@LOKISlog7 : you can agree all you want but the majorty of kiss fans want to see the spaceman and the catman so that's what paul and gene are delivering. it doesn't work with ace and peter in the band so paul and gene purchased the rights to ace and peter's makeup and are trucking right along just fine without them. remember ace and peter sold the rights to their makeup to paul and gene. so, if you want to continue your teenage BS and complain about who's wearing whose makeup then go right ahead
Id rather wait for a great album than for kiss to rush a mediocre album. Also, The album will be released simultaneously with a dvd box set called monster 'kissology vol.4 im guessing', and a hardcover book, also called monster. Sounds good!
