At first, I thought Percy Jackson and The Olympians was going to be a Twilight knock-off... But after I watched it, I fell in love with the movie. Great actors and actresses, awesome portrayal of Greek mythology... I can watch this movie over and over again and not get tired of it. (Until the 4th or 5th time, then i need a break lol, but still, that's far above average replay value of any other movie!)

I just didn't like the idea of putting in Medusa. i mean Perseus of Mythology was the one who beheaded her,and Percy Jackson is not the same person. he was only named after Perseus,and not the actual Perseus.i mean i loved the movie,but like i said,putting in Medusa in this movie seems like it was too big of a risk.

@Days101 Yeah, I mean. If you read the series (I'm not saying you haven't, I'm just saying) the only gods that Percy meets are Posiden, Hades, Dionysus, Zeus, Ares, and...I think that's it. Having a person play Hermes and Aphrodite and Athena makes no sense if they're doing more than one movie. So it's only logical to think that they're making one movie out of this series, which probably means some of the books are going to be mashed into this movie, so a lot of stuff will be left out as well.
