I tried to go vegan once. Lasted about a week. I don't want to live without bacon, slow-smoked ribs, lamb shank, porterhouse steak, pepperoni pizza, aged gouda, fried eggs & puerco pibil. Not that I haven't added some delicious vegan dishes to my recipe box, it's just that I'm addicted to animal protein.
Great holistic bands are---Melting Euphoria, Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Mother Gong, Acid Mother's Gong, Magma, Aphrodities Child, Jade Warrior, Steve Tibbetts, Patrick Bernard, Lost at Last, Larry Coryell, Shakti, Oregon, Kazumi Watanabe, Toninho Horta, Egberto Gismonti, Eat Static, System 7, Lisa Gerrard, Dead Can Dance, Magma, Sphongle, Bill Laswell, Stomu Yamashta, Here and Now band, Steve Hillage.
Excellent post ! It is so refreshing to see famous names such as Rachael Ray discuss veganism. I remember Ellen DeGeneres discussing this on her show a while back. Even Dr. Oz has been helping those with extreme health issues - some with a vegan diet. Awareness is key, must get people thinking about their choices, not only for their own health, but the health of this planet and the animals of course.
