  • Very cool vid...keep up the good work...You need to post MORE!!!!

  • I just took the plastic mounting frame out and put the AXi motor straight in..............haven't had any problems.

  • Interesting, thanks for that. That's simple enough to do. Thanks for the info:)

  • Hi Devonflyer, great video! I just recently bought an Omega myself and am trying to figure out how to mount a brushless motor. Can you possibly provide any details on your motor installation or suggestions? Kind Regards.

  • AXi 2829/10 ,Jeti 40amp speed controller , 12 x 6 folding CamProp , 8 x GP 3300 NiMh cells.

Any system giving 250 - 300 watts will be more than adequate.

  • Thanks for the reply:) From your video it definitely has the kind of climb performance I am looking for. The problem I am concerned with is the mounting of the such a motor into the nose of the glider. As you would know the Omega has the plastic motor mount which is useless for an outrunner. Are you able to give any tips about how to mount the motor to the airframe? Being a light plastic fuselage, I would appreciate any tips from someone that has been there before with this model. Many thanks!
