seriously, there is hardly any ShorinjiKempo, and except allt the other critics, where is the guard, kick drop hands, kick drop hands. That is not good. (Not that I would do it better but I wouldn't do it that way)
I've seen both shorinji kenpo and native shaolinsi quanfa a zillion times. That was a masterpiece, and Your boys are... Er, they're VERY bad. No steps, no attack, no defence - nothing. Maybe they are cool boys somehow and can stand in a common streetfight or two; maybe not. That's not my business. But there are no technical movements at all, only youth and pride. Good luck ;-)

Shoriinji Kempo is a beautiful **self defence** martial art that combines a number of different arts and consists of hard (goho) and soft (juho) techniques. Best thing to do if you want to experience true Shorinji Kempo is go to the WSKO site and find a dojo nearby..... its life changing.
im better then this and im only up going up for my 2nd kyu soon. theres one guy who is first dan with us who you used to do tkd, he can kick well but when you get close and punch hes lost this guy shouldve tried that i think
Fighting is serious, lucky u guys just playing around. is the black shoes really shorinji kempo kenshi? why dont wear belt? why your gamae is ugly? keep your discipline!
i see u can win if u use counter attack with jodan zuki, or mawashi geri at the right moment.. ask your sensei dude!
there 3 belts in shorini kempo althought diff kyo ranks so he could be 3rd white. the only thing is the way his kicking looks like that french kicbox savate?? in shorinji you use genral 3point atack then subm.
Sorry dude, not too sure where you got that from. White, Yellow (4th Kyu), Green (3rd Kyu), Blue (2nd Kyu), Brown (1st Kyu), then Black (1st to 10nth dan). Those are the gradings if you are 14 years or over. If you are under the age of 14 you hold your white belt and do a tag grading (ie yellow tag, green tag, blue tag etc.
from nyc shorinji kempo honbu cause i almost joined 3 belts diff degrees in between, white brown black .. the reason so you dont have worry too much on whos ahead . thats part of the curriculum you teach others in class and meditation and open discussion about techniques you can also check it out at their web site... you might be confusing it with japaneese kempo .. shorinji is based on chinese although created in japan. shorinji is shaolin in jap....

@newcomer777 they are not fighting, they don't mean their strikes, they are just playing a game (ofense/defense/counter-attack).
