  • i coulda swarn u was black lol

  • dope shit dude. beat is nasty!

  • omg it sounds really horrible

  • QUESTION EVERYONE...WHAT'S BETTER MPC3000 OR 4000??????

IM BUYING A MPC THIS YEAR, BUT IM STUCK BETWEEN THE 2

  • @01hezekiah for classic samples/hip hop like Pete Rock/9th wonder go with the 3000 because the 3000 has 16bit sound which is classic, 4000 has a 24bit sound which is more clean (too clean) which makes your samples sound flat. I recommend a mpc 2000xl MCD version which uses CF cards like the new mpc's. So its easy to manage your music files (.wav .mp3 etc.)

  • @01hezekiah 3000!!!!!!!

  • where can I get started with beat making, all the fukn equipment is so confusing. is there a book, guides, readings, seminars.. Where?

  • @ceomeye youtube my man, you tube, If you're really serious about getting into music production you should learn how to use software first as a back up in case you don't do well on hard ware you don't want to but a 1200$ machine and then suck on it. Search up how to use programs like reasons, pro tools, cubase etc. I suggest Fruity Loops, the name of the program might sound gay but its really cool. 9th wonder made some of his old albums on Fruity Loops.

  • cool vid man feeling the beat, i make hiphop beats from scratch, check it out and let me know what you think. respect

  • come on now.lmfbo did a cat really just hop on your mpc.thats why i have a dog.

  • the beat suck man

  • nice beat man , but thos kind of beats wont get u any were it sounds like a beat that would be in a old school video game

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • crappy thing , who would listen to that in his Ipod ??? u wasted ur money man

  • @akcel34 ...and what do u suggest??

  • @akcel34 schwätzer!

  • cat tried to stop this noisy think!

  • come check out my sample beat. its hot. buy it cheap too.

  • lmfao @ the cat though. he came outta fuckin nowhere!

"oh yo, my nigga, let my HOP on this beat, yo."

  • that's some expensive ass machinery... rich ass niggas.

  • i have a quick question, i know you can get samples from records/vinyls.... but can you use cds?? nd can you get cutss like lyrics from a cd/vinyl and use to scratch them in to your beat that you madee

  • @crackstah5150

yeah you can use anything CD players,Mp3 players...Ive even used my TV for samples...yeah so almost any source

  • @theANT47 REALLY? THATS DOPE THANKS MAN...I LIKE TO USE A LOT OF SAMLES FROM ANCIENT ASIAN MUSIC AND TWEAK THEM UP SO THATS REALLY DOPEE!

  • @theANT47 REALLY? THATS DOPE THANKS MAN...I LIKE TO USE A LOT OF SAMLES FROM ANCIENT ASIAN MUSIC AND TWEAK THEM UP SO THATS REALLY DOPEE!

  • love how the cat just apears haha.

CLICK ON VID AND IT PLAYS RIGHT AWAY NO TALKING ***

    S0b Me? I S0B u ** :):)

  • didn,t anybody read the description

  • @SuperJameschelsea I think that is the common problem in America, no one takes the time to read or learn anything or pay attention, just go straight into shit without any knowledge, which causes miscommunication and error

  • Are you a fucking idiot? he is just showing you how to make a beat. Not making fire lol idiot. RTFM fams.

  • this beat is horrrrible

  • Good beat! But what was classic is when the cat jumped on the MPC (LMAO) TIMELESS!

  • LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Hi there

I wonder if you can offer some advice

    I need to connect a korg r3, MPC2500, 2 Ikey monitors to a Hercules 16/12fw audio interface

What cables do i require to do this??

  • My Studio has been upgraded, I still use Reason, I used to have a MPD32, but I sold it for my MPC 2500...the 2500 is self contained...But fuck Reason when you have a MPC...But I still use Reason as a sound module which is pretty dope, my refills dont go to waste

  • i had the same set up i sold my mpd 32 too haha and got a 2500

  • Beat is ok but I ain't feelin' the kick. That kick is kinda wack. The sample should've been chopped better too.Overall it's aight.I ain't "hatin' " just being honest.

  • do u record it from fl and play, or are u recording from the machine ?

  • I'm wondering... from the get go it seems mpcs are amazing since you can hit pads and record on the fly. but can't you do the same with reason and a midi keyboard. does the mpc have advantages over programs like idk better pitch and not recognition of samples or something. I'm confused why people spend thousands on these tools when it seems that you could do it with 700 dollars by buyying a prog like reason and a midi keyboard. any suggestions.???

  • here is a quick reason.... once upon a time.... a hit record was made using x2 speaker and 1 MPC 2000xl nothing more nothing less.... and people enjoy the hardware feel... its not boring.... imagine starring at the PC for days... its terrrible..

  • some ppl say (i personally believe this too) that the pads of mpc type midi controllers are easier to make drum beats than a keyboard. you can also put the drum sounds wherever you want whereas, correct me if i'm wrong, a reason drum kit already has the samples on each key

  • sampling is legal when the sampled track is 18yrs old or somethin like that...

  • @copahack lol no its not

  • but for me it its ^^ hahahahha

  • or when you credit the publisher on release. you don't need permission just money

  • Not bad dude. Come to check my beatz on the akai

  • does mpc's have any sound bank in it like a drum machine?

  • sampling is completely illegal unless you sign the proper contracts and pay the artisit whose song it is.

  • OR you just take the sample, and distort the hell out of it until no one knows what it is. :)

  • @Abner01234 exactly

  • you have no idea!!!

  • Is sampling legal? do u have to get permission to do it?

  • lol

  • only if ur gna publish it. If it's a mixtape, u dnt gta clear anything. HAHAHA!!!!

  • lol HOLLAATCHABOY

I woulda hulk samshed the shit out of that cat

  • shits gay

  • mofucker ....its a snaph!!not a snare!!!!!!

    ;)

  • wizzzzack

  • Beats wack

  • i woulda punched that cat in the head

  • that's a tight hit mana...

  • i like this shit man you helpin me out with ma 2500 peace

  • His hands are a little light to be talking all "hollachaboy."

  • you dont think he is hitting the pads hard enough??

  • lol stfu

  • What he didn't want to admit was that the cat remixed the beat at that moment and made it pop better than he did.

  • l00kin 4 FREE MPC Samples??? Watch my VidZ

  • yo can you hook this up to garageband??

  • Can someone tell me the benefits of using an MPC vs. say, Reason and Recycle? It seems that you'd get far more flexibility going software plus you'd have the luxury of rewiring to a VST host to record synths, keyboards and vocals.

Am I missing something that the MPC does that can't be just as easily achieved (if not easier) with software?

  • Realtime control, hands-on feel. Signature sound quality and quantize "bounce." I'm a huge fan of DAW's and VST instruments but even with nice midi controllers, it still sucks making music on a computer. Let's face it. Making music should be fun, and hands-on gear is better for getting the creative flow going expressive performance. Not to mention if you ever plan to perform live, it looks lame as hell to be standing in front of a laptop.

  • What keyboard are you using?

  • old school people hate on software life fl or reason but they both do the same is you know how to use it.

just learn the software and maybe you could do more with your music

  • he sounds like that because he didnt sampled / sliced any raw drum breaks...

  • look up aarab muzik dipset producer he is the sickest

  • its sound lik a FLstudio beat on a mpc not a good thing

  • ain't nothing wrong wit FL studio. don't believe me check my shits out

  • i didnt say that i use fl too dude but im saying if you on a mpc you should sound lik u on a mp

  • Its deffinatley not having anything to do with the equipmeent software you use. This guy just made a shit beat on an mp.

The beat would sound the same in fl.

  • Yawn....

  • I second that Yawn....

  • yo check my vids and subscribe and comment

    its dopee

  • the initial beat is sampled from "fresa salvaje - camilo sesto" an spanish singer... an old clasic here in spain

  • y are u using fruity loops lls ur shit

  • HEADACHE! IN A BOX

  • keep at it.

  • Your simple minded

  • you pass judgment too fast. I would say you are the simple minded one.

  • nice

  • why the hell is this 3 1/2 stars 4 @ least!!!! ill give it five cuz i like the beat alot

  • maybe because the beat is so ugly

  • this beat is dope

  • haha the cat jumped on ur mpc ..

    fucking cats fuck up everything!

    ill beat yo!

  • Damn Cat lol...Nice job. Sounds for Samplers is still around? Wow, haven't swung through in years. Gonna have to drop back in. Used to love them same sample battles...

  • haha ur so right. def a Prefuse sound.

  • pretty weak my man.....sorry

  • Not really good actually, sorry...

  • the fucking cat..

  • nah son,da first strings part just reloop, din it would be hot,dnt need da second part

  • technique is good, but the beat is so awful my brain hurts!!

  • agreed

  • that shit does suck. and softwares dope though i use software ppl think i use hardware

  • the snare sucks

  • wutZ da cost of this shit? its cool

  • about 1800

  • How much does one of those cost and how the hell do you use it? I want to make dope beats too!

  • if you have a pc, just get some software and a midi controller...much much much better.

    peace

  • lol, much much much better? midi controllers have their place but there's a reason the vast majority of beat-making legends use the MPC. if you've ever played one you know how valuable of a songwriting, improvising, and arranging tool it is. pads rule.

  • its aight. sound quality hurts the beat but its str8 keep at it son!

  • what keyboard is in the background an nice beat!

  • whats the name of the intro-song? or did you make it by yourself?

  • MAKING STIMS AND SEEDS ON THE MPC

  • this guy just put his video as a response to kanyes thinking mad people would watch it... well it worked! but everyones talkin mad shit.. haha.. KEEP RIDIN HOMIE
