I could only get the game working by changing the date of the mobile phone back to march 2009, otherwise it wouldn't let me install it. It runs smooth on a Nokia 5230, which is basically a 5800. However, playing it with the touchscreen doesn't really work out, it could really use some sort of directional pad.

ps. Don't forget to try 'Crimson Fields v.3', (version v.5 doesn't work on 5800/n97)

Its a GREAT Panzer Tactics style game and it free, just switch off turning control which is found in phone/sensor settings.

Also Hex-a-Hop, which is also converted by the same guy, again is a WONDERFULL game, both free.

Not really, it needs fixing to be really good, just a transparent joypad would do the trick.

Finally someone that's rational! Not all of us enjoy just touch for gaming. I've got plenty of friends with iPhones and iTouches and all of them agree it's only novelty. And my iTouch eats the battery like crazy when playing games. I still prefer the traditional gaming with lots of tactile buttons. And the added "gamepad case" to the iPhone is ridiculous. It is again, novelty. The touchscreen and accelerometer using games are enough. I don't wanna lug around some gamepad case.

He's using the stylus so you can actually see the screen! If he used his fingers or thumb, he'd be blocking the damn screen, and the point of the video is to show us, not block us. And BTW, the iPhone uses a capacitative screen, so it can't use any other object that doesn't have static. Meaning, you can't use a stylus... or your own hands if you're wearing gloves. Pretty bad if you're out in the winter cold. You'll be forced to remove your gloves or mitts.

There is some bug in some 5800 that produces certificate errors - upgrading to latests SW should help (or use older SW :-) ... or I should get proper certificate, instead of selfsigned.

It's easier when you have a keyboard, Nokia 5800, does not have any - BT keyboard of course works, I have IRXON KB850 which works fine. c2Doom touch support is more or less experimental, but it works pretty well - however I would keep level as "Not too rough", as controls are not as good as they are with a mouse and keyboard.
