If anyone needed any more proof about the rhythm section in this band, this should give you everything you need to know. The bass line is insane. And Charlie? Well, no other player sits on the back beat like he does. Make no mistake, this was a band, and they could bloody well play.
People sure are cynical as hell about music. All their lp's have some great songs. How can I stop to me is a masterpiece on Bridges to Babylon for example...
Steel Wheels is my favorite of all time... I love how they did that.. The sound on there is like none other.. Great songs. Great playing.. It's not that the newer stuff isn't good.. It's just that it can't type the wyman-era stones
