  • Wow, That is a true Motorcycle enthusiast, it is not the R.U.B. who goes out and buys a 40k custom, it is the blue collar man in his garage, fabricating because you dont have the $ or they dont make what you need. That is the spirit of true motorcycling. This guy is an inspiration to all!

  • You sir,are an inspiration to all....may you make it well past the 100 year mark you wish for.....God Bless !

  • You cant beat that guy, crazy speed freak,

made his own sprocket wtf .

He would know a thing or two about engines!

  • Did Rollie ride a twin engine bike ? Hardly a fair comparison ...

  • He is an inspiration isn't he?

  • Good job, we are all proud of Uncle "Bud".

  • Bud is an inspiration to us all,the fact that he plans to be running as fast as he can on two wheel at Bonneville until he's 82, we should all be so lucky.

  • Got to love a old guy who still has spirit

  • Bless him, may you live forever Bud...

  • Great vidio!

  • Thats my grandpa!

  • no doubt you love your grandpa. He is such a colorful character, I could listen to him tell stories all day. I am glad I got to meet him and have him share some of his stories. We are also looking forward to seeing him on the flats next year.

  • yeah. I work at the harley dealer and get to see him every once and a while. Last i heard though is the vrod got sold and he's gonna be out on a buell.

  • Rest assured Bud will push that Buell. I look forward to seeing him no matter what he rides.

  • Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

I just want to be like that when I get old...

  • The salt flats is truly a remarkable place but what really makes it additionally special are the people. I'm glad you are enjoying my efforts to capture some of the history that takes place there.

  • That was so great. What a wonderful character. This guy makes you smile throughout the video with his enthusiasm for Bonneville racing. Thanks for the video. Babs

  • Glad you liked it, there are more Bonneville stories coming.

  • What an excellent short film! I was talking with Bud last Saturday when we were having coffee at the Harley shop and he told me he was on 'You Tube', so I searched and found your film. Bud is also in the book, 'Heroes of Harley Davidson,' so I am searching for a copy since it is out of print. I'm looking forward to more stories from Bonneville!
