Here it is Nov 2010 and Mexico is circling the bowl and going down the pipe. US Customs and Border Patrol have hired a lot of people. Including a huge amount of Drug Dogs. I was at the border crossing for 2 hours and seen them catch 7 cars with drugs. They are catching and stripping cars at record speed. It's impressive! GETTER DONE! It's only a matter of time and drug cartels only customers will be on the other side of the fence. I hope they like Pesos.

The 40 year old Navy boat in the port had not run in 12 years and all the soldiers were asleep in their hammocks from 11 AM till 3:30 PM every day. Untrained drug dealers with outdated weapons keep the military and police at bay and running for their lives. mexico doesn't even have an effective police force, much less a military.

i hope so jaalex03 i dont know why obama wants to send more troops to iraq if the real war is coming the u.s. way and i dont think the wall is doing that much to stop drug cartels but something good i hear in the news that the D.E.A. was the one who told the mexican armed forces were to find a drug lord this just happened this week the drug lord was killed by the mexican armed forces.

This is not Mexico's problem only. They are fighting like this right across our border and have been reports of the drug smugglers even crossing over in big trucks with guns ready to fight whoever gets in their way. The U.S needs to stop meddling in eastern affairs and help control the volume of drugs that are coming in from the south.
