No MC better than Rakim. This is step beyond his oldschool hiphop roots but it's phenomenal and very true to his values and his genius. The sound of this track on the right stereo is sick. Rakiwm is one of the most underrated rappers of all time. hes known but at the same time ppl dont talk about him. it is amazing though how many rappers give him a shout out. eminem, jay-z, limp bizkit and even 2pac. the guy is a genuis. always love listening to his music

First thing is the lyrics and Rakim is still the greatest at that and held his own perfectly so what does he need guests for. Listen to Psychic Love, I walk these streets, Documentary of a Gangsta, Wont Be Long, Man Above, this song. The album was great. This is one of the real hip hop albums.

That was the whole point of the album for the 7th seal to be opened and hip hop reborn. We do need a lot more good young rappers or what will happen when all those people on your list retire.
