  • I work for a private garbage company an ya they dont care what goes in the back of the truck.

  • private garbage truck companies don't really give a shit what goes in the truck as long as they get paid

  • Not very clever to mix electronics waste with household waste. There i a lot of lead in electronics, and the CRT tube itself - that's a bad idea to get that to the landfill and pollute the water...

  • Damn good ol' Leach rear-loads!

  • Can't they sell any of the stuff from the house?

Seems an awful waste just to throw it all away.

  • @ngdimola1 i agree thats alot!!

  • @ngdimola1 hey nice video! Anyways i have a question. Ok how pounds of garbage can a garbage truck hold?

  • @JamesProable It can hold 15 tons with ease. Thats a lot of garbage.

  • hey im from the queens

  • @XxPzPxX1 Stop in and hay hi one day.

  • I don´t think you should refuse dangerous electronic waste like ordinary waste.

If you cleared a house with a lot of old electronics by this way it wouldn´t be good fo environment.

  • I have to agree with bearcat2842 here. The truck is capable of generating final compaction levels of 1000 lbs per cubic yard. This is to say, that when you go to dump, say you have a 25 yard truck, your tonnage should be about 12.5 tons. That figure does not reflect the force placed at any point on the trash. This measure is also somewhat irrelevant to you because you're not compacting MSW, which these figures are based on. The 1000 lbs/cu. yd. is regularly exceeded by heil and mcneilus packers

  • nice video though.

  • The TV I would have taken into my shop, and fixed it up and sold it for a good price. I make good money on used TVs, no matter if CRT or LCD. One TV alone I got $60.00 for it!

  • can I get a job with you guys???

  • looks like fun

  • the Leach was full thats why at 1.05 into the vid you see the guy open the sweep blade and then retract the carriage because the truck is full and wont clear the hopper all the way if you get me .good vid.

  • One of our fav trucks!

  • 1000lbs/yd^3 is not a measure of pressure; pressure is in psi (like you mentioned for the floor) or in lbs/ft^2, etc...basically force/area. A cubic yard in the case you gave denotes volume.

  • The info comes straight from the Leach truck site. Guess they have their own measurement system :)

  • you cant beat a leach

  • Cool!Video
