Do you remember what Romanian, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian women, etc. looked like during the rule of the USSR? They either looked like the half-male track stars that the USSR trotted out during the Olympics, or like some fat, old, red-faced babuska working in a tractor factory. The fall of the USSR has sure done wonders for Slavic women!
