They said that since God created different races, they weren't supposed to mix. They basically twisted things to their view. Again, Jesus HIMSELF said nothing about it.

Not all Christians are anti-gay. I'm Roman Catholic and support gay marriage. If you look at it historically, it was the same thing with allowing blacks and whites to marry. Also, it's kind of head-scratcher that for some reason the Church/Vatican/whatever is focused on homosexuality as a terrible sin, when Jesus (founder of Christianity remember) never once said anything aganist it. Despite the fact they were well known in his time.
