This film is being shown in Hollywood today (4-24-2010) as part of the TCM Movie Festival. A discussion by staff from the Museum of Modern Art in New York will be leading the discussion prior to the showing of the restored 35MM print! This role and movie with Miriam Hopkins is considered one of the best examples of the pre-code films with excellent cinematography by the renowned Karl Struss.
A newly restored print has been made by TCM, and will be part of the First TCM Festival during the latter part of April 2010 in Hollywood honoring Miriam Hopkins in this very controversial film. What a treasure!
Mirialm was a cute girl, I love her although it seems she was a handfull, she did an episode of Outer Limits around 63 they really outdid themselves to make her look as old and hidious as possible, at least she wasn't bloated and pulled to distortion like todays actresses around 60
