What do you think a powerglide is?!?!? It's a GM automatic that was put in a number of cars. Tim Lynch's new Corvette is an auto and ran a 6.2xx 1/4 mile at its first competition in Oct. Tim competes in the Outlaw 10.5, not the Extreme 10.5 where the cars are nearly 1000 lbs lighter.

DUDE a toyota supra turbo is dam near stock at 400hp. i've got one that has intake and exhaust and is putting out 375 daily on pump gas. 1100hp is not at all impractical for a 2jz especially a drag built supra. you can tell how much fuel they're flowing through it by how much smoke puffs out the exhaust when he revs it up.
