  • ok been f**kin trying for weeks now lol to learn this i hit every note grand but just doesnt sound anything lik it sud

    lol

  • @deadfighterII you should probably check your tuning and distortion level when playing it just some friendly advice

  • mmm so tasty!

  • "Tasty" Riff! lol

  • wow dude that was perfect and flawless. i like how the vid ends perfectly on the high, ending note

  • The structure is similiar to the beginning of the solo from communication breakdown, methinks

  • I'm the Devil, I can do what i want!!!...

    woops got carried away...

  • hi can any one tell me wat does the P in the tab mean ??????

  • @deadfighterII Not sure but i think its a Pull off

  • @deadfighterII In tablature P generally stands for pull-off, h for hammer-on, p.m. palm mutting, p.h. pinch harmonic, n.h. natural harmonic, vvvvvv or ^^^^^ for vibrato, and that is pretty much all you need to know for now.

  • dude thank you so much this vid helped alot

  • Thanks, this has helped allot ;) I allways find it easier to learn riffs and songs with tabs + someone playing it. :)

    5* stuff keep it up!

  • really, thanks for it :D now i can learn it faster than only from tabs^^

  • @MrSuvvri it is a much better way to learn i agree. download guitar pro its very similar it plays the tab for you. the best piece of software ive ever come across for learning guitar.

  • dude you nailed it! thanks for uploading

  • b pentatonic?

  • thank you very much. it was very usefull!!! 5*

  • sounds right. all those people playing it incorrectly almost made me think that this little riff was incredibly difficult or something.

  • you rock as anybody else!!

  • perfect lesson, why they say its short? just try a lil and ull get it i got in in about 5 minutes

  • lol instead of being thankful that he uploaded this. stop whining..

  • bit short :\ should have like a full explenation etc

  • make one then hit up this page complaining bout the length ;)

  • tab goes totally right. but you should make a better lesson

  • any chance on a full cover?

  • What is a guitar?

  • an instrument used for a loonngggg time

  • and has six strings

  • you see Temafey1994, a guitar is a stringed instrument used to make music.

  • Lol

  • wow nice riff

  • Nice, this is the first accurate sounding one ive heard. 5/5

  • @0806053

the first accurate one Ive heard too. too bad of the sound quality.

  • I love this riff. Easy and sounds as awesome as heck.

  • chech this riff it's fucking tasty!!

  • it looks like u never play the high e string can u play it slower?

  • You have to bar across the 7th fret on the B and E string (press down across both strings at once).

  • haha nice work none of the tutorial vids have that little bit

  • belzeboss best riff !

  • how do you get youre guitar to sound like that i have a BCrich SOB and a POD the only problem is i still have the first act amp ive had when i started playing lol

  • what model is your amp? i have 2 first act amps, one beginer amp and one thats really loud and detailed

  • @narfire214 the only thing a found on it was M2A-110

  • your in luck i happen to have the same model, press the overdrive botton and set the gain to how you like it (like it at 4.5)(sometimes at 7) here are my preferences: medium treble, high bass, high mid

  • @narfire214 thanks

  • there is no 9 on the G string in the second measure. It just goes from 10 to 7. You even played like that.

  • @candlewick163

you mean the pull off? I do play it.

  • ok yeah i heard, its just a 32nd note so i didn't hear it at first.

  • @candlewick163

actually listening back on it now it is quite hard to hear, I only knew it was there cause i know how i play it :P

  • monse

  • Seriously, this riff is fuckin' tasty.

    \m/

  • easy nice sounding tasty riff!

  • thanks!

  • lol sounds like blues when slowed down

  • @huntastyle123456 rock and blues are brothers

  • can you put the tabs in the comments please :D

  • dammit u rock! and thanks for tabbing its gonna help so much ;)

  • Gah, I can't play this lick and I've been playing 5 damn years!

  • i can and ive been playing for 3 months

  • I just haven't practiced and put as much effort into as I should have so far. I could learn this, with about a week's time for practice.

  • no affence dude, but you shouldnt have to put any effort into it at all.

  • I'm talking about my overall guitar playing. I've lacked motivation practicing and perfecting scales/fast picking.

  • dude i picked it up in like 2 minutes literally and ive been playing for 2 1/2 years!

  • Well, I just haven't practiced certain things over and over until I've perfected them over the years. I've mainly just played guitar as a hobby, playing rhythm. The past year and a half have been lead guitar for me. Also, I think I may have broken my pinky years back, because it's hard to use it. It like, doesn't want to bend correctly all the way.

  • dude enough with the excuses we understand, u cant play!

  • Yes, it was an excuse, but a true one. My cousin and I used to pass a football back and forth and I caught it wrong and it hurt my left pinky, really bad. It happened twice actually.

  • @flash19950

i've been okaying for 2 years and i picket this in like 5 mins :D

  • me too xD

  • @akamarujs I'd like to see you play that in full speed. Video please?

  • @SalandFindles

Just practice you can play any song just with practice

  • thats fucking tasty!

  • Indeed.

  • wow u rock

  • You ROCK!!!!! thanks for tabbing ill learn to play this in minutes! =)

  • There is a few more notes then that, But hey, considering how tasty this lick is, I can't expect a perfect tab from anyone. Good job man.

  • Thank god someone else plays it right, most people play it according to that horrific gp5 tab. I just found it best to listen to it and work it out myself.

  • any tips on getting my picking speed up? i keep getting caught on the strings : /

  • Just practice like hell and youll make it. ive played the guitar a few months and ive learned the solo of One By Metallica

  • which one?

    there are like 20!

  • Well, thats not really difficult...its just impressive because It's just a million notes in the beginning, but being able to do that after playing for a few months is an accomplishment. Good job.

  • i dunno any tips but just practice. I play like 3-5 hours guitar a day (if i can) and i use pick in only few songs. I practice playing with pick 1 hour a day and it has payd off. Training is the best way to learn.

  • go on google and search "guitar warm-up exercises." the number one reason a lot of people suck is because they don't do exercises and warm-up, they just try to jump right in a rock. It doesn't work like that kiddies.

  • Adrian Smith never warms up!

  • @candlewick163 : well woudnt u still get better eventually even though u dont do constant warm ups? i would think so

  • not as much as you could. You actually develope bad habits from muscle memory and if you dont' warm up then you do things wrong and those wrong sequences get engraved in your fingers. Not warming up actually increases the risk of you getting an injury from playing when your bones and muscles aren't ready yet. Basically, warm up, why not? it takes like 5 minutes.

  • @Firecast01 Uhm, 9/10 ibanez's have rosewood dude..

  • rofl

  • This really IS fucking tasty :D

Great vid, thank you so much :)

  • plz put a tab up here

  • haha this riff is fuckin tasty lol

  • nice!!

  • thats fucking tasty

  • wat does the b and p in the 9 and 10

    mean

    pls answer asap

  • The b is a full step bend (the note should be the same as if you were playing on the 11th fret)

The p is a pull off, basically you fret the string, and then flick your finger off so that the note afterwards rings out. Hope that helps.

  • thanx man this helped aalot

  • nao sei falar em ingles, mas se isso vc entender otimo:

qd vc toca a nota, puxa ela pra cima na casa, o bend depende da musica, ou as vezes é especificado.

    b = bend.

p = pull off (n lembro direito rsrs)

pull off eh qd vc muda de casa sem tocar a corda denovo, deixando soar o som da casa que vc troca (rapido).

    espero ter ajudado.

  • thanks alot man,i got it down slow,im just trying to build up the speed to play it with the song

  • Yea, its closer then what most people do

  • Nice man, definetly helpful :D

  • It sounds very accurate. the best tabs i have seen for this song

  • The crazy thing is that, that riff had more notes in it
