greatest movie i ever seen. great acting by crowe. yess for me is a fukin idiot this movie this movie requires intelligence to see the million things its worth.
Great acting of Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks, and Olivia Wilde cannot save this movie full of plot holes. For example, the policeman does not search Crowe when he visit his wife at the hospital. Liam Neeson agrees to help the wife escape jail and go to another country suddenly out of the blue. And so on, and so on... making the entertainment value of this drama/thriller boring to a 2/5
@yes4me actually you're wrong. I just saw the movie and Liam Neeson doesn't agree to help anyone, he just gives him some brief advice. Also when Russell Crowe goes to the hospital and rescues his wife there aren't any policemen stationed to search him, he arrives unexpectedly. get your facts straight...
@amalgamaxx No, it was a bullshit viral clip leaked. Mythbusters debunked it and determined somebody was behind the camera with the lock remote. A thin strip of metal called a "slim jim" opens door locks, but amateurs take too long if they don't know what they're doing. Plus, anybody seeing someone slim jiming a car must be a car thief, the cops would be called and Crowe arrested. Big plot hole, so they filled it with an "easy", inconspicuous way to open car doors, the "tennis ball trick."
@amalgamaxx Modern cars no longer have conventional door locks, making the slim jim useless. AAA services or professional vehicle locksmiths have different slim jims, lockpicks, etc. to open car doors and start vehicle ignitions. Today, the vehicle's cellular system (GM's OnStar, BMW's SOS system, etc.) would need to be contaccted, provide all the correct information to open car doors and start the vehicle.
