I'm 21, i dont smoke and also dont drink alcohol, the only side effect i've had is breast tenderness... i've used it for like a year and stopped it for a while but im going back on it next week =) hope it goes fine...
@gullable2 no I'm no longer on it. I broke out in a terrible rash that itched so bad. I would dump the cortisone/ anti itch cream on the rash. Plus I would end up ripping it off just to get some relief and sometimes it would fall off but it would stick back. I'm now on nuvaring and I love it.
@shayfay00 Did you put it in the same spot?? i did that and i got a rash but i started moving it each month and i love it :) havent had anymore promblems with it.
i only use condom since years and never had a problem and never had a problem lol what if some people cant use that like heart attack lmao im sure it sucks and condom still ftw

I've been on it twice. It's brilliant in terms of mood.....as in I was in a constant good mood, never moody at all, and always happy....and horny lol. The only downside was I got nausea and dizziness so came off it....but, just gone back on it! Im hoping it's ok this time as I HATE the pill! Also, it never came off, didn't irritate my skin and unlike the pill you get a steady 24 hour stream of hormones rather than a sudden blast and a mood swing. Good luck with it : )

I was on the patch for three years and never had any problems with it. I loved it it was easier for me bc im forgetful and I was afraid of gaining weight with the birth control shot. I never gained weight although i stayed pretty active all three years. When I finally stopped use of the patch it took about a year for me to conceive my daughter, which isnt a bad thing. and after she was born i went back to using the patch. I love it.

i was on that crap for 18 months and my asshole and my vaginal hair folicals itched the whole time i went to the doctors so much trying to find out what the problem was they stop giving me creams and steriods and sent me for a biopsy and to a physcologist lol but my dermatologist (an african american woman) figured it out by process of elimination THANK THE LORD but no weight gain, my period was crazy it would just stay inside no discharge it was just there when i wiped go figure good luck mama
good info i'm still trying to get it because it's not one of my preferred scripts that my insurance wants to fully cover so I have to pay an arm and a leg for it but i should have it within the next month but thanks for that
I have been on the patch for 4 years, and I love it. I never gained weight, never had serious bleeding while I was on it and have never gotten pregnant! lol. Although my boyfriend and I are about to start trying to convieve, the patch has been great for me!! And periods are super predictable and always on schedule. Just remember to always replace it when you need to every week then skip a week. Its a great birth control, I have no complaints!!
i was on it for a year and it was good i did gain crazy wieght like 15 lb but when ur off of it then its droped with no work at all but two bad things i had brusing where ever i put it , and it too me like i was on it in 2006 the hold year then 4 mths in 2007 and it took me a long time to get pregnant when i was wanting a baby but i think thats with every brithC but no spotting or cramppin no heavey periods afther i have my baby im thinkin about doing it again but not really sure
i love the patch. i tryed the pill and they never helped. nuva ring hurt durning sex. so i tryed the patch and i love it
