Now how the hell did 1:17 happen? In my games even at 100 Kmh if the nose of my plane just barely taps the ground the whole thing explodes.

Amazing Job with those Cameraworks, how did you manage to do them? I am quite an IL-2 Nerd myself and never found out about doing decent work with the cams =/

@Equilibrium9415 This is all done just with the F2 and F3 button. Use the mouse to rotate the camera, hold left/right (I forget) to zoom, and use Shift F2 and Ctrl F2 to cycle through viewing enemy and friendly planes. In the movie, the footage is cropped slightly so the planes don't appear in the middle of the frame.

U-2 is a reconnaissance/light bomber plane and the gladiator is a pure fighter >_>

besides, many u-2's were flown by women.

Even then I still found it hard to take down <:(

The gladiator's guns are pissweak and the U2 has extra thick carboard armour. Without ramming the plane the only easy way I found to kill it is shooting out the unprotected pilot.

Grrrr....one of those shot both the ngines out on my nice Donnier two-motor fighter, and by "shot out" I mean thew front engine being blown off completly and taking the instrument panel with it, and the rear prop hub got shot off. Grrr.

that russian plane could of kept flying with 1 elevator and both of it's wings. i flown with worse 1 time i had no elevators i used my rudder 2 keep flying.
