Interestingly, the pronunciation of the Latin here is closer to classical pronunciation -- specifically the "hard c and g" sounds. The singing is superb. This might have sounded better live, with an orchestra and chorus, such as J-B Maunier had.

His voice is pleasant and clear but lacks the sheer power and intensity of Jean Baptiste Maunier Plus Whey is singing with a rather lame electronic organ backing while Maunier sings with the world acclaimed Les Petite Chanteurs de Saint Marc plus a full orchestral backing so the combined effect is far more dramatic

But 'pleasant' for this young man is a huge dis-service to one of the best WSK soloists of all time. Much more precise, though perhaps not with the raw passion, of Maunier.

My God, what a terrible instrumental companiment. I just hate those half-professionally sounding instrumentations of computer or keyboard produced music. There is nothing better than original instrumental music.

The boy's voice - despite of that - is quite good.

I agree. Comparisons are odious. I think that the "that guy is better than this guy syndrome" indicates a stunted personality and/or a vacant mind.
