Darrell Beam was -- is -- and always will be one of the most creative guitarists of his generation. Many an afternoon I would sit as a little kid in Carlisle bugging him and getting free lessons. Years later the chords that he and Stambaugh had showed me at age ten amazed all my peers at age 20. To that old page boy out of Ted green's chord chem: thanks for some real good times!
