There has been two companies that has owned rights to power rangers from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers to Time Force, Saban owned the rights to PR. Then from Wild Force to RPM Disney has owned the rights to PR. Now Saban has the rights again with Samurai, thats one of the reasons Bulk is back. Sorry for the small Power rangers history lesson there but i feel like not enough fans knows about this.

yep, just reading the previous comments just goes to show what happens when North America gets a hold of foreign intellectual property, chops it up into pieces, puts it back together, and repackages it to be spoon fed to the masses that have no real understanding of the original. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is the anniversary series of the super sentai genre in Japan, and like their Kamen Rider counterpart, they bring back and somewhat commemorate all the previous incarnations of the series.

@vjammin dude, this video is not a damnnation of a culture bastardizing something and making it cooler, this is just what they will adapt. Like Gokaiger, it will probably be a tribute to the past 20 seasons of Power Rangers but will have to dash footage that had Sentai counterparts. This is a good lesson to purists on both sides, because the shows might be different, they're cool in their own rights. There's just as much PR fans as Sentai fans. I happen to like both but grew up on PR.

Even if they came out with some way to explain the multiple rangers, you still hav rangers that have lost their powers, and a lot of other rangers that were never even introduced in America. @Dave102693 Simple, the powers can be explained with the morphing grid(Not that Saban would do that), Although for the Zeo Red Ranger, Green Ranger, and White Ranger, they'd have to do something to state that there was someone holding that power before Tommy, as to not have his actor in there for the 3(or 4 if you count the turbo movie) tribute episodes. Like I said he said there were Rangers BEFORE the MMPR, while it would be weird they could just as easily reshoot it all, with their own suits.

This idea is most likely NEVER gonna hit America. One reason being: This movie has about every single super sentai in it, even the ones before Mighty Morphin. That being said, America already can't do it, because there were characters who were multiple rangers, and some of the rangers lost their powers. In Super Sentai, all of the rangers were different people, and from what I heard, none of them lost their powers unless they died.

Power Rangers is a US ONLY adaptation of Super Sentai. Super Sentai came first and foremost before any of these. Our first power rangers were in fact the 7th or 8th set of Super Sentai. @ThatsGoinOnUtube 6-10years? Try 18. Even farther back if you count original Super Sentai.

And they'll likely have the rights for it, considering I doubt Toei will randomly decide that they don't want to rake in international dollars from a show that someone else is running entirely on their own. All that would be left is for Saban to film new footage around it.
