I wonder if it's possible for Leon to kill all the zombies on screen? It looks as though there's an easy twenty zombies on screen. It doesn't look as though it'll be like RE2.

Sorry, but I can't. I think I'd rather watch someone's Let's Play of it at most. Besides, I think RE5 wrapped up the story as good as it could, so I don't really want to bother. Maybe It's just a sign that I'm getting old, but I miss when Resident Evil cared more about being scary than producing action sequences. I miss when I didn't know what was around the corner, I miss the hilariously strange puzzles, I even miss the campy voice acting at this point since the story now is just...kinda there.
I don't know, it just feels so alien from what I remember of the series now. Last RE game I played was 5, and that had no surprises so sadly, I'll have to pass.

Operation Raccoon City will have a 4 player co-op for the story followed with separate online modes (such as Heroes mode, Survival mode, etc.). The split-screen option...I'm not entirely sure about that yet.
Also, if you have one of the older systems, such as the PS2, there is also Resident Evil Outbreak. It is pretty much a short Resident Evil game that doesn't really have a plot but more of survival. It contains short scenarios & I had fun with it. You should check em' out.
Capcom took a different route in their game productions due to the decreasing amount of copies being sold. Games, like people, evolve. The same fixed-camera angle gameplay was starting to bore a bunch of people. Capcom wanted to start a new behind-the-shoulder so interest the gamer (inwhich it did). They also wanted to add suspense to the story by implementing an action sense into the game. Some people liked it, other's hated it. RE6 seems as if it will have a blend of both though.

While the new system of walking and shooting looks amazing, I miss the older games. The ones that actually made me shit my pants, because you never know what's behind that next door, when you're going to get more ammo, etc. I hope this one brings back the puzzles that I haven't seen since RE Code Veronica.
I agree with giantsnowglobe... a 3year old was given my ps3 controller apparently when i was at work and he cleared stage 1 in 35mins with no help except being told how to aim and shoot... Capcom is becoming like all the other f***tards who make games for "Casual Players" or so they like to call em... @Ernesparks10 People are upset because this is not a Resident Evil game. This is more of call of duty meets zombies meets some characters from RE. There is simply too much action, it actually takes away from the horror element. When playing RE 1 I felt like I never had any ammo, my HP was always low, and I ran away from most enemies.... FUCKING DOGS. In RE5 I was always at max health, always at max ammo, it was not scary whatsovever... capcom is cheating us. open your eyes asshole.

@mesesube Your English is good, no worries. The way I look at it, the series is becoming more realistic. As bioterrorism grows, terrorists and the creatures get more fearsome and agressive. The characters become more combat-oriented to battle the new threat and keep peace.
@TheMetroShot You are right, but that makes it less scary. In resident evil 1 or 2, if you havent got any amo you just could run, and the hard difficult of RE2 was a fucking hell! Now zombies seems to be made of butter or something xD and the dead camera angles... that is getting too old, but when you hear a licker but cant see it... I would love if they do a horror game like the old ones, those that were even painfull to play.
@mesesube You're right about the scary concept. It's not all that creepy anymore, but I think it's to show that the characters are getting used to all the bioterror and are more able to fight it. I think these camera angles are easier to use because even though I played the shit out of the early Resident Evils, the camera angles got me killed more than once.
@mesesube Yeah, I kinda miss the fear aspect myself. Hopefully they can bring some of it back in this game. Who knows, maybe they'll make a game in the old format as an arcade game of something. Maybe have Rebecca or Billy, hell, maybe even Carlos in it. You know, just for the nostalgia.

While the new system of walking and shooting looks amazing, I miss the older games. The ones that actually made me shit my pants, because you never know what's behind that next door, when you're going to get more ammo, etc. I hope this one brings back the puzzles that I haven't seen since RE Code Veronica.

I agree with giantsnowglobe... a 3year old was given my ps3 controller apparently when i was at work and he cleared stage 1 in 35mins with no help except being told how to aim and shoot... Capcom is becoming like all the other f***tards who make games for "Casual Players" or so they like to call em... @Ernesparks10 People are upset because this is not a Resident Evil game. This is more of call of duty meets zombies meets some characters from RE. There is simply too much action, it actually takes away from the horror element. When playing RE 1 I felt like I never had any ammo, my HP was always low, and I ran away from most enemies.... FUCKING DOGS. In RE5 I was always at max health, always at max ammo, it was not scary whatsovever... capcom is cheating us. open your eyes asshole.

For all the Haters and Newcomers: You can play as Leon and Helena, Chris and ???, and Alex with Ashley. So when you take Leon and Helena it will be like RE 2 and 4. When you take Chris it will have some action. And when you take Alex and Ashley it will be an Chase on you. So you WILL play as all of them 3 Groups. @TheMetroShot You are right, but that makes it less scary. In resident evil 1 or 2, if you havent got any amo you just could run, and the hard difficult of RE2 was a fucking hell! Now zombies seems to be made of butter or something xD and the dead camera angles... that is getting too old, but when you hear a licker but cant see it... I would love if they do a horror game like the old ones, those that were even painfull to play.

@mesesube You're right about the scary concept. It's not all that creepy anymore, but I think it's to show that the characters are getting used to all the bioterror and are more able to fight it. I think these camera angles are easier to use because even though I played the shit out of the early Resident Evils, the camera angles got me killed more than once.
