  • The rational elements within the EU want to avoid confrontation with Russia. It's just that simple.

  • Also we have an assload of trade with Russia and bad relations would have a potential negative effect on the economy.

  • Freedom to Chechen and Ingush people!

  • shut up canada :)

  • In my humble opinion as a European Citizen I believe that EU should invite Russia to join as a full member. Politically, culturally, historically, even geographically but, most importantly because of their people: WE COULD BE ONE from Lisbon to Vladivostok !!!

  • Russia doesn't want to have to share a currency with Europe. They have their own economic goals.

  • I believe in my humble opinion that EU should invite RUSSIA to become a full member of the European Union. Russia is as European as any of the rest of the members. Geographically no question (up to the Urale Mountains but, why not Europe up to Vladivostok) and historicaly we have so much in common. Viva Russia, Viva Europa !!!

  • Darya is such a babe

  • ...And how about sanctions against the Aggressor Genocide Georgia? I bet there won't be none from the USA-NeoCon-controlled UN considering Georgia is one of their colonies...

  • Who is Sarkozy to be calling the shots?? He stole the French Elections! Sarkozy is a corrupt Mafioso!

  • If these Eurodisney charades motivate at least one Russian to buy an Asian or domestic car instead of a European one, then that's a good thing.

  • European Prostitutes

  • EU official position: all bark, no bite (predictable).

  • TBILISI, September 1 (RIA Novosti) - Georgia's largest independent TV channel Imedi resumed news broadcasts on Monday, 10 months after it was temporarily shut down amid mass anti-government protests. Imedi TV was first shut down on November 7 last year, after being accused by the government of inciting violence during street protests against President Mikheil Saakashvili.

  • Michael Saakashvili is beginning to see the writing on the wall (he's all alone, the EU is not going to risk much over a hothead). His days as Georgian president are numbered.
