  • Golden State was a amazing album and prob my fav next to Razorblade Suitcase. So I can't see the new album bein too, too shitty I mean with Bush they seem to get better with time if you rule out The Science Of Things. Science was a good album and all but it jus wasn't on par with all their previous shit. I'd imagine will get a Science of things kinda album outta bush for their new shit.

  • I want to hear Institute live

  • He's one of the most genuine musicians, so excited theyre back.

  • So excited to hear they are back! Its a bit dissappointing that its not the entirely original lineup, however I am thankful they got back together at all. Gavin seems so down to earth and that makes him that much sexier and attractive. I wish them the best of luck!

  • was he ever in DDepresion ? I can see it on razxor´or who composed those existecial songs?

  • wow he sounds a lot British than usual I guess it's because he's in a normal setting

  • This is not a Bush reunion. This is the continuation of Gavin Rossdale's music using Robin Goodrich (formerly of Bush), Chris Traynor (formerly of Institute), and Corey Britz (some guy noone has never heard of). I can get by without Dave Parsons, but Nigel is a MUST. Nigel's guitar work and subtle nuances he played in songs was what made Bush different from what Gavin has been doing since the breakup. I appreciate Gavin's efforts, but after listening to the new single, it still falls way short.

  • Also... Gavin's relationship with Gwen is what caused the initial friction between Gavin and Nigel. Nigel is a very volatile human being by nature, and Gavin was too up until him and Gwen began seeing each other. At that point, Nigel lost his other volatile partner in music. Nigel wanted to continue the standard Bush format, while Gavin began to lose the angst he originally had, and wanted to experiment with more melodic lighter tones. Some women just have a way of ruining good things.

  • @WarmothGuitarist Fuk you man Dave Parson is one of the Key members of Bush! His bass work is crucial to bush;s sound.

  • @xrustynailsx Though I agree, and love Dave Parsons, his bass sound and technique is quite easily replaceable. Nigel's guitar playing was the unique part of Bush. I'm really not trying to be a dick.

  • @WarmothGuitarist THings change man, ive seen live video and the new lineup is good. see Gavin is one of those musicians who writes most of the music, he probably wrote alot of the guitar. as long as his influence is still there bush is still good

  • @WarmothGuitarist I know what you mean. I often said that Dave Parsons was the less gifted bass player in a professional band. LOL.Bush songs were simple songs and Dave often stuck to the root notes- really, really basic stuff.Became part of this band's specifics.Nigel and Robin were the most musicians, Gavin = frontman, songwriter and singer (sloppy guitar player) and Dave = basic. It doesn't matter if it works.

  • @dummytree While Gavin was a sloppy guitar player on stage, the guy could write a rock hook with the best of them. I think he lost it when he found Gwen...

  • @WarmothGuitarist Dave had his place because he did play the chord notes in a tight manner, live :) It's a bit harsh on Gwen (I don't like her music).I think they met when Bush toured their first album. You only like the first album ? I agree that "Razorblade" sounds sketchy, hastily put together with "tortured" lyrics just thrown in under the pressure to release SOMETHING. But I think they got better and more personal, less "soundalike" (more sincere?) with "The Science of Things".

  • @dummytree Gavin began dating Gwen in '97 when they were touring for RBSC. I actually loved 16 Stone and RBSC immediately. I even think RBSC's raw sound is as great at 16 Stone's overdubbed sound. TSOT took me a while, but I finally came to love it because it bacame the soundtrack to a very important time of my life. Golden State was where they lost me. I just couldn't get into that record. Gavin lost his edge, and Nigel saw it and decided to bow out in lieu of spending time with his family.

  • @WarmothGuitarist dude i totaly agree on this comment how the hell are you going to have Bush with out Nigel's guitar? it gives "Bush" a whole different sound.., a sound that isnt what Bush a sound that Bush fans will not be pleased with =/

i want the orignal Bush damnit!
