  • I use PC version of MAX and am a beginner: Is it possible to build application in PC version of MAX that works on a MAC?

  • And your pricing is very fair too...I take back my original comment :)

  • That being said, your implementations later in the video are really great!

  • any way to get this patch?

  • Who is stupid enough to buy this? Are you crazy? If someone cannot do something like that on their own, they should not even purchase Max in the first place. ..

  • @Setherian Completely agree! It's such a basic fundamental DSP code nowadays!

  • I don't really get ..is the elastique dsp code ( from the origial coders z plane ) included as an object in max /msp ?

Or are you just sort of recreating the algorhitm in max ?

  • The elastic~ object uses the actual code written by Z Plane (we license it from them) inside a Max object.

  • i want this for free.

  • R ANAL!!!

  • I don't know why you'd try and sell something that anyone who owns M/MSP could build in a couple of hours. Hell, there's stuff out there better than this for free. Although it might be in PD lol

  • You obviously haven't tried building the time-stretching algorithm that Cubase uses (Elastique) in Max! I urge you to give yourself 'a couple of hours' and post your patch... lol

  • @simonadcock There are some really cool free granular patches at LowNorth's site, which also sound pretty good. They also make a timestretcher. LowNorth . nl / software

  • Tres impressif

  • Will elastic object work with Max/MSP 4.6 on PC?

  • Yep. Max 4.5+ and Max 5.0+ on PC and MAC

  • i guess the demo, for maxmsp5, has no elastic~ object....cuz that's what i am running into now

  • Brilliant!

  • you should make this FREEEEEE MAN.

  • Why? Joe and I worked full time on this for a long time (and paid a large license fee to Zplane). Whatever it is you do for a living I'm sure you wouldn't do it for free!

Anyway, £20 - most people spend that on a night out... spend one night in instead and you'd get it for 'free'. Something like that anyway.

  • just bought it, works like a charm; any chance of getting hold of the 'harmonise' patch - tried to build it myself from your video, but no luck

  • look up "modsquadredux" or something like that. pow mod redux. It's in there, actually... weird.

  • Hey man great video

how do you create your own objects

    this is interesting
