Usually the song that plays is sort selected at random, unless it's a boss battle. Each of the bosses has a song that plays everytime you face them. Some of them have the same one as another, and some may have one that is unique to them. (For example, in the 11-boss chain battle you can encounter in Another Day, the only song that plays is "Give Me All Your Love." *shudder* the lyrics to that one are kinda creepy if u read between the lines...)

The OST (both iTunes and the CD) don't contain the missing tracks because they're specific to the NA/PAL releases.

While looking through the OST you should've noticed some songs you've never heard as well (ex. Satisfy); those are exclusive to the Japan version.

.rar is a fairly standard archiving format dawg. Hook yourself up with either Winzip or Winrar and your problems are solved for the time being.
