question... would IV sedation guarantees no pain? i mean.... i'm so scared of dental visit from traumatic experiences... my family is laughing at me because I'm so scared...

I had this yesterday and it didn't work. 4 Doses of the stuff and i still wasnt fully sedated, I was still in control that i made them stop the whole procedure. My cheeks and gums are so sore from the numbing needles however my mouth wasn't numb, so from what i remember of the procedure i must of stopped it because it hurt. So now i need GA. :/

i went to the dentisat today for a check up after 10 years of not going im 24 and didnt even want the pokmey thing anywhere near me! so i freaked out. yesterday i found a huge hole in my back tooth and wen the xrayed it they sed i cud eitha hav root canal which i refused straight away or go to flagstaff where they do dental sedation...im kinda scared still though!! can u feel anything???

I had to get a root canal and I got this IV sedation. Thinking back to it, it's all very foggy, I can barely remember anything. I said after it that I couldn't believe it only took 10 mins and my dad was like ' you were in there for 45 mins' lol. It was great, I would recommend anybody to get it.

hi all, in the last 2 day i just had a minor surgery that the dentist had took 4 teeth out of my mouth, and they has put in this IV sedation, but in the procedure i cant remeber much, the surgery took about 50mins, but it seem to be just having a short sleep, but i still cant remeber how they took out my teeth without letting me know anything hahaha :-D :-)) =)

and btw, after the surgery i feel just normal like i never having any IV sedation just there are 4 holes in my mouth, hahaha!!!!!!!!

i agree , i was compltely freaked out before i went but its like 6 hours later and im fine , iv sedation is a deffintly a good thing adn i would have it done again no questions asked

hi am and 24 and about to have my wisdom teeth removed! im quite a nervous person and get worried easily! ive got the choice between this and being put right out! i dont know which to go for

I had three teeth pulled a few years ago and was put under deep sedation with an IV. It was the greatest dental visit I'd ever had. I don't even remember going under. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a comfy bed and didn't recall anything, no pain at all!  I highly recommend it! Good luck!
