hey so i gotta question, when i restore my iphone, it doesnt get through the full restore, it gets stuck at about 2/3's im not a tard i know what im doing, it wont get out of dfu mode, i know how hard reset and put it to recovery but no luck so far, please anyone help me? if anyone knows a program on how to get out of dfu withoput button lemme know cuz its bricked or something, iphone never jailbroken, YET(: btw its a 3g, idk what firmware i forget but ive been hackin ipods since 1.1.x(:

can someone please help me i tried to jail brake my iphone 3g using blackra1n and it said waiting for reboot and the geohot picture came up but the iphone's screen went black and it wont do anything else. can some please help me with this issue asap. thanks

the files shouldnt of affected your computer in any way. You must of exectucted a virus on your computer somewhere else. Try system restoring your computer.
Turn on your computer,
press F8 before the windows loading screen. I assume your using xp or vista.
your computer should now boot, check your computer for virus's then system restore you computer to an earlier date.
If you cant do that, uninstall the usb driver software, the usb drivers could of froze your mouse for some reason. Could be an issue if you are using Vista. There could be a usb conflict.

I read an article about the new 3gs. if your phone has a serial no. higher than xx94, it has a new boot file which causing to do that...we have to wait for new backrain,maybe blackra1n4, please dont use blackrain3 righ now. it will unlock your phone but dont turn the phone off, otherwise it goes into recovery mode.

New iphone 3GS? on any iphone manufactured after september 5th 2009, has a new baseband which prevents the iphone from being rebooted when injected with the blackra1n jailbreak.
You therefore need to blackra1n the iphone ever time to rebooot.

i installed the program and my mouse and internet connect stopped working........
had to restart windows in safe mode and unistall the program again and then restart and my mouse and internet worked again

download Libusb by typing it in google finding the file urself
and youll need irecovery download.
not recovery for pc for restore hard drive.
tthe rest is up to you. theres some other writen tutorials out there
that should enable you jailbreak to stop getting stuck on the geohut face

the files shouldnt of affected your computer in any way. You must of exectucted a virus on your computer somewhere else. Try system restoring your computer.
Turn on your computer,
press F8 before the windows loading screen. I assume your using xp or vista.
You will get a list of entries

geohut doesnt seem to be hackng the new 3gs model currently. if you read his blog. Current working on ps3
you can jailbreak it, just when you want to reboot use blackra1n to do it

I just got a new 3GS today, not working here either. sad too casue ive lost Blue tooth connectivity as well =o( my 3g works great
