  • oh, Saturn is hollow.

  • LOL this information is so useless.

  • Aurorae my ass

  • amazing

  • 1 minute is. The guy standing on the rings of Saturn sounds like he is saying, "Hello, and welcome to the holocaust."

OMG! He is one of those Nazi SS scientist that the allies were so eager to collect. And kill the rest :)

  • Just make more Hubbles, much better use of our money than sending humans to Mars or even The Moon.

  • thanks good video

  • saturn is straight in orientation... handy to know :-/

  • It sounds like the female narrator is an American trying to do an English accent.

  • odd.. i've never noticed his adam's apple prior to this video. he should consider having it surgically removed and then donate it to adam's apples of love.

  • Dr J ftw

  • lets hope it not topple like a skittle or all of its moons will be an apocalypse threat on the solar system lol

  • Dr J should get a nice polo-neck jumper, his yo-yo-ing adam's apple is a bit distracting. Love these vids though!

  • Dr. Jay kicks ass.

  • Are there any theories as to WHY Saturn's magnetic field is uneven? I mean, what is the CAUSE of the unevenness?

  • magnetic field for the win =]

  • Could the fact that that the magnetic field is stronger and more consentrated around the north pole have some conection to the mysterious hexagon around Saturns north pole?

  • @Faidros62 No... It's not strong enough. Probably any wifi device near you will be with stronger em-field. (Last sentence is a guess and I didn't verify it.)

  • Yes, no cows this time!

  • Damn, this is interesting.

  • are there Aurorae in other planets?

other than the earth and saturn

  • Google for aurorae on other planets.

  • 1:30 ..an enoymous...lol

  • Wow. Saturn is one of the coolest planets!

Have the other planets aurorae, too?

  • Just googled:

All planets from our system has aurorae except for mercury.

  • your very own planet earth has aurorae !!

  • Notice the transit of what I assume to be Titan @ 2:00... And in the same shot as the Aurorae to boot!

    I love astronomy.

  • Hey, it's Mr Meeeethane.

  • omg if i lived on Saturn i would be like a year old.

  • You'd also weigh 1.13 x your current weight...and no ground to stand on

  • I learned something. I learned that his Adams Apple is huge.

  • Yeah, They're not showing him close-up much as they used to. I guess there were too many comments about that bouncing distraction.

  • You really need thick skin to be on youtube...

  • I find it extremely strange that people are so unaccustomed to seeing Adam's apples.

  • I didn't know Saturn had aurorae. How very cool!

  • Even if it teaches us nothing, those are some great images and worth it for the coolness factor alone.

  • Far out

  • ESA cast should do a video on Saturn's giant hexagon on it's north pole.

  • pretty cool

  • Awesome!

  • Saturn ,by far, is my favorite planet. Next to Earth, of course.

  • I want to know where Dr. J gets all his t-shirts. :)

  • wow
