I am 40 years old.......have been watching hockey since the LA Kings wore purple and gold.......and I say it is a COWARDLY move to not remove the visor......the rules need to be changed to add at LEAST a 2 minute unsporstmanlike conduct for not removing it during an altercation.

While you were watching, I was playing. There are some instances where the player simply doesn't have enough time. If you screw around with your helmet, your opponent can catch you off-guard and fuck you up.

On the flip-side, I will admit there are some players who hide behind the visor when it comes to fighting. Pretty tough call for a ref to make, whether or not the player deserves an unsportsmanlike penalty.
