  • i love this film,i love Michael j. Fox for ever!!!!!

  • haha tommy and vince

  • Michael J Fox is so underrated as an actor.

  • Tommy Lee and Vince Neil?! D:

  • I've seen this film many, many times and still love it!!

  • Nothing currently has the power soul and Sheer HEART of the 80's and 90's music

  • @MrMegas2 Very true. Most people will not admit it though. The usual reply is "Oh, there is still some great music out there; you just have to look for it." I admit there is some "good" music today, but it is not magical or epic like the past generations.

  • @ClassicTVful That's because today there is no Talent. Just Teenage wannabes seriously ruining their futures and peaking too soon

  • Is Weird Al the trumpet player????

  • @esdavidson yeah

  • @esdavidson I was wondering the same thing!

  • Still prefer songs like Seven Wishes over this anyday. First 3 records were the best, this pretty much sucks. Hate the production.

  • the drummer looks like Will Ferrell :)

  • @cardman880 Or Larry from Three is Company...:-)

  • Jesus Christ. Did I just click on a freakin' Night Ranger video and see a bunch of elitist, political douchebags having a pissing contest in the comments section? Take that dumb shit to a Glenn Beck or Obama video.

  • @controversyking the left hates the right because they destroyed this country, I hope you get what you deserve, you are a scum and you should feel pain

  • I never say maybe and go for it all!

  • @controversyking lol what do you call guys wearing makeup an dressing likes girls then? an im pretty sure the left hates regan only because he lowered taxs and increased the defiect by expanding the military

  • @controversyking What color is the sky in your world? forgetting about your silly left/right arguments, lets address your "get in touch" comment. Have you looked at some of the bands that were popular in the 80s? Boy George? Duran Duran? It was all about "getting in touch." So, if this is meant to be a homophobic statement, at least make it an accurate one. Check your history books.

  • What would be awesome is if The world started when Reagan was elected then ended with Randy Savage losing to Hulk Hogan at WM V then everything went black and we started back at Reagan getting elected. The 80s were awesome.

  • このPVには、Motley Crueのニッキー・シックス、トミー・リー、ヴィンス・ニールもでているよ(ホーン奏者役)。

  • partial nipple shot at 2:58!

  • "Reagan is the one who made today's financial disaster in the US today, if not inevitable." .... Wow some people are dumb, misled or uneducated .. or just dumb /. Great song

  • Comment removed

  • @peoriapadres Hey Einstein you didn't read my whole post ... I was quoting someone else, on here .. and then I shot it down

  • @Padarack1

    You are right. Corrected :)

  • @controversyking Exactly

  • This cheesy movie has ended up meaning so much. It's soon to be mentioned in my book, maybe published 2014 under author: Terence Eagle, called "High on Seven Hills: Meroirs of a Life in the Clouds"

  • How can one band be so freekin awesome? This is like my theme song! I wish it would seem longer.

  • For the love of God or whoever, is it really necessary to bring politics into this NR clip? Especially if it's a bunch of retards idolizing the man who tripled Americas national dept, actually said in so many words that his agenda was to make the rich richer and the poor poorer - and did it - and financed dictatorships in the 3rd world and called it "fighting communism". Reagan is the one who made today's financial disaster in the US today, if not inevitable. Keep him out of NR clips, PLEASE!

  • @MordakeHead

Really? I mean Really? no wait ....(scratching head still) Really WTF? Let me get this straight for a second K. Cause I'm "dumb" you are essentially blaming a dead man that was President 23 years ago for todays

economic meltdown right? Just wanted to get that straight. You my friend are what we "dumb" people call a complete moron!! hahahahaha! You are truly pathetic. So what color is the sky in your world?

  • MJF films are good

  • LOvE LOVE LOVE this song and movie!!!!!!!!

  • Watched this movie and "Big" with my childhood family DOZENS of times. I couldn't watch it today. Sleeping with your aunt (even if not closely bloodrelated)...that ain't right.

  • @controversyking Wasn't there a Democratically controlled Congress in the 80s? Republicans were in the White House, but certainly wasn't in charge of EVERYTHING. Ofcourse, I'm sure you'd blame the shitty parts of the 80s on whatever the Democrats had control over. If anything we've become more Right wing today then in the 80s. There is no true Left wing in America today, for the Left there are at best Centrist Democrats, but otherwise there is Right and then there is the Far Right wing.

  • A boy from Kansas moves to the big City with the determination to make it and his job is taken when the company gets taken over. After many failed attempts he tries his Uncle and gets a job delivering mail throughout the Offices. An exectutive loses his job and he takes on that ones responsibilty. Falls inlove with his uncles love Interest and even has sex with his Aunt. But his dream comes true and thats it.

    80's logic and great music.

  • what movie is this from?

  • @2011fordFRRaptorXT "The Secret of my Success". It's on Netflix Instant Watch, right now.

If you don't have Netflix, you get a month free trial. Then it's $8 a month for unlimited movies and shows. Plus they are always adding more to the line up. ***No, I don't work for them. I just like it. I quit cable when my bill hit $100 a mth for basic. This is much better. Most of my shows and movies are always on tap.***

  • this movie displays the fact that if you work hard enough you can succeed. and Michael J. Fox does the part wonderfully. really a great movie.

  • WINNING!

  • Michael J. Fox is really an underated actor.

  • I don't think I have ever experienced a chorus so euphoric.

  • The 80s forever

  • that makes me wanna see the movie, but I don't know the name...is it also "the secret of my success"?

  • @DeathBat12051992 Yes! the movie has the same name! It's amazing! I love this movies because then you will smile all day, no matter what happened..

  • @DeathBat12051992 Gosh, have you never heard of the movie? Damn!

  • @diuga1 no, people here don't know great classic movies :P

  • 2 words.........HELEN SLATER

  • Tommy Lee in the Sax!!!! lol

  • Night ranger is feel good rock and roll. Love them. I watched the movie alot. The song is alittle more pop than some of their early stuff but watched the movie for this song.

  • Thank Canada for this production. David Foster - from Victoria, BC. Weird - all the escapees from Canada helped to make America great.

  • @surfer53 Don't you think that this video is rather violent?

  • @dowling1981 As much as I love America, that's my big beef. Americans would rather watch a bunch of people die than 2 people having consensual sex. Premarital sex is evil, but God is on our side when we go out to kill innocent people. One thing Reagan did in the 80s was bring about an era of relative non-intervention in terms of foreign policy. He defeated Russia without firing a shot. Unfortunately, after he left office America descended into a kind of neocon hell.

  • @surfer53 That is indeed a pessimistic turn of events, but they shall flay the trees in their attempt to overturn it. How should Night Ranger be corrected once and for all in this quest?

  • Gotta love the music, actors, people, cars ... Heck, you got to love everything about the 80's!

  • Great song, but John Parr was made for this one!!

  • @driffter1976 its jack blades and night ranger your idiot

  • @thaigergolf I'm quite aware of that you fucking cocksucker. Why don't you look at the context in which I wrote that? Why is your grammar so fucked up?

  • Oneof my fav movies when i was a kid, also i loved slater :-D

  • micheal j fox did a improvement in bttf teen wolf bttf part 2 bttf part 3 and so on

  • @AVP230g in part 2 and 3 he doenst play!

  • this song is awesome

  • This is the song that killed my favorite bands' career. :( Just too commercial. Of course David Foster was involved with this song so what do you expect. Sad thing is that the rest of the Big Life album is AWESOME. Not a bad song just Night Ranger's worst song.

  • honestly best song ever! video definately needs some work I mean whether this song was made for this movie or not its inspirational and amazing!

  • i absolutely love this movie like definately one of my all time favorites but I absolutely love the song! like you don't understand how awesome this is!

  • I didn't know Will Ferrell was in a band.

  • Cheers for all those 80's years!!!!!! immemorial

  • Loved the vocals on this one.It was always on the radio/mtv all the time.

  • Cheesy yes, but it has uplifting 80s heart.

  • Sounds so much like a slighter hard rock 80's Chicago. I'm sure David Foster produced this..... definitely Night ranger's downfall

  • @snuffereet Definitely sounds like Chicago. David Foster did produce this song, but I don't think it was a bad thing. I can hear Bill Champlin singing this.

  • oooffff...this is aweful!!

  • i need a better quali of this song for download pls help thx

  • The guys playing sax look like Tommy Lee Vince Neil and wierd al yankovic

  • Great, great David Foster production!

  • The 80's were Awesome!! Now where is the time machine at so we can go back?

  • @bondgirl00722 EXACTLY!

the last time a decent movie was made (thats not animated!) was from the 80's!

  • @bondgirl00722 Amen!

  • THIS! SONG! ROCKS! The film was pretty darned good as well!

  • This song rules!

  • michael j fox?

    omg.

    <3

  • I'm 17 years old, and I love this kind of music. ^.^ My mom taught me well in the ways of music. The music rocks, it does.

  • I watched this the other day brings back good times of the 80's I miss them, the music and the films. Just great times.

  • Secret of My Success, was a fun romp through corporate sharks. The predatory world only has trouble, these days top end demands the homosexual & lesbian, as carnal is their weapon of choice. Martin Luther King stood and said, my Homosexual & Lesbian brothers are oppressed, they never had a friend like me; the famous civil rights meaning and speech as enacted in America.

  • @WOWJBEOWULF Because of political corruption and voter apathy, people have lost sense of what capitalism is. It's not government and corporations in collusion to increase profits at the top end. It's about the opportunity for someone starting out with a big idea to make a living (sometimes a very good living). Everything you've said is why I've become a libertarian. If giant corporations are the alcoholic, government is the enabler. George Carlin called elections an "illusion of choice."

  • thank u 4 remindin me y i liked this vid & movie

was in highschool at the time

i hope my son has that same entusiasm i had when i was young

  • thanks 4 reminding me why i liked this movie & video

i know i was just graduationg highschool off to college man did i have big dreams

i hope my son has that same drive & energy like me when i was young

but we live in a day w/ such pesimism

    God bless America!

  • Im eighteen and the radio guy i talked too said im listenin to the same music he listend to when he was my age lol WIN! I love 70s,80s,90s and some of todays. If i think they have potentual

  • awesome music and awesome movie!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song

  • I Love this song. The music is great.

  • Did you guys know weird al is in this video as one of the trumpet players

  • Its cheesy as fuck based on our own cliches of what cheesy is supposed to be. I really think were taught to think of it in terms of being cringeworthy(and based on the video in those terms , sure) but fuck it ! What a song . In terms of the movie and on its own terms . Brill brill brill. I effen love it !!! Great memories !!!

  • Michael j Fox is so Dreamy ... xx

  • Great!

  • Love this movie, reminds me of when I was climbing the corporate ladder in the 80's.

  • Is that Tommy Lee with a saxophone in the horn section?

  • @WImotleycruetribute Along with Vince Neil and Weird Al Yankovic

  • I miss the 80s,best decade ever.

  • the 80's....gotta love it :]

  • Wow, Surfer53 that could not have been written better!

  • great tune by david foster, tom keane, mike landau and jack blades. MJF is just cool in all his films and his deputy mayor part in spin city is classic! and the dude has parkinsons disease and campaigns for a cure what a stand up guy! respect!!

  • I love it !!!!!! hi everybody ;)

  • Call this a cheesy movie if you want to, but like every other 80s movie, it reflected the optimism of that decade. Rock singers don't smile anymore. They're supposed to be angry and angsty. This movie could never be made today with the same optimism. MJF wanted to BE the guy with the corner office. Today, we don't bother - we just try to bring the guy in the corner office down because it's not fair that he's so rich.

  • even if they smile, they got so much more atitude then the fag bands from today. the rock died after the 80s...

  • @surfer53 exactly man, couldn't have put it any better myself

  • @surfer53 well said

  • @surfer53 : VERY TRUE !! The 80's was about ENTERPRISE and bettering oneself, today the future is very very BLEAK, my friends. WE have the power to take this country back from the "entitlements", you have to make yourself an example.Better your self & situ, and tell everyone who says "NO" to fuck themselves!

  • @surfer53 so true! especially the bringing down the guy in the corner office because it's unfair he's rich. It's easier to tear down the successful than it is to accept responsibility for our own failings.

  • @surfer53 This definitely is no cheesy movie. I have seen it lots of times as I used to consider Michael J. Fox to be my favorite actor (but I stopped thinking so since he is now semi-retired and will not be making anything more on-screen). This is probably my most favorite movie with him that is not part of the Back to the Future trilogy. The songs in this movie are also important and actually mean something to me- I am glad they are on here to play and listen to. They bring back good memories.

  • @surfer53

    You're right!

And there is one sentence I hardly hear anymore and that is "Don't worry baby... the band's gonna make it!"

  • @surfer53 Did someone call this cheesy? No way!!! If believing that there are still some good guys like Michael J Fox or Brantley Whitfield Carlton Foster rather than guys like his uncle that step on us all the time is cheesy sign me up. You're right about it being hard to find optimism today though. But movies still have it today. It's about the only place you can find happy ends in two hours.

  • @surfer53 .... But even in the 80s Rock music was supposed to be bad to be cool. Even if they weren't angry they had monster faces KISS monster machines in concerts and evil names like Judas Priest and IRON Maiden (a device that killed accused witches) No wonder parents said thats devil music. Stryper was a minority throwing bibles against Ozzy biting bat heads. But there are still some unangry artists today with several genres to chose from Rock, country, Audio Adrenaline christian rock.

  • @surfer53 that"s because Reagan was president!

  • @largelester Well I guess we know how you're voting in November. Hey Nancy and Barnie - get him!! LOL JK.

  • @surfer53 and MJF's crush looked liked Princess Di, and now we have Camilla, yuk!

  • @largelester I loved Reagan-the 80's were the best. The nearly 2 years obambi has been in have sucked.

  • @surfer53 straight up!!!

  • @surfer53 Bravo! Back when Communism, not Capitalism, was considered evil. Back when making money was considered cool. When people actually had hope for the future. We need to bring that back! 2012 will be the dawning of a new era, hopefully.

  • @surfer53 Your're right, every one should agree with me here,

but today are just money, money, money, looking cool, trying to fit in, and not being yourself.

  • BIG time 80's song. I LOVE IT. All the keyboards rock.

  • Amazing!!! This song it's incredible. Hello everybody

  • Totally fuckin awesome movie and song!

  • cheese as cheese gets.still great though! love the film too!

  • Canada loves this band! Rock on Night Ranger!!!!

  • I just can't believe this actually happened...oh the sound of electric guitar

  • LOL I heard these guys were Mike Fox's fav "metal band." Gotta love the 80s. Even Queen is more metal than these guys.

  • I think their best song is "carry on", how come nobody upload it?.......

  • this is one of those classic 80's movie you need to enjoy as much as you can. Because Hollywood won't go for it anymore. It's a classic that this generation will never know about.

  • I luv Michael J Fox in this Movie!

  • This was the movie that got me to like MJF. (I hadn't watched Family Ties or BTTF yet)

  • wow!!..I dont remember this one...This is gay - squared

  • ....How's it end? That was part of the promo clip you cut! I never saw it, or the movie, love the song. GANG CHORUS that still stands up

  • great song and great band!

  • @stinkymouser Yeah? I don't know what music you listen to, but this is classy, it stands up, even though it's "corporate" in a way

  • I'll bet you walk around wrinkled

  • Definitely if you can then that would be awesome. Both the movie and this song are great.

  • To funny to see VINCE NEIL AND TOMMY LEE!!!

  • Not only that, but I think that's Weird Al with them!!!

  • Yes, he's W.A.Y.

  • @Boojkill Looks like MAYBE Bon Jovi on sax cameo too

  • Shame no one has posted night rangers song from the album big life "Better Let It Go "

  • Night Ranger Pack is coming to Rockband on Tues!! Everyone get it and spread the word that is Night Ranger!

  • Great song, great movie, great decade.

  • I love this movie and song

  • funny,

I used to hate this song way back in the day. Now that I listen to it 20+ years later, it's actually one of their better tunes. The song itself doesn't sound as dated as their other hits. Can't say the same for the video lol

  • MICHAEL J. FOX and MIAM VICE

    So wonderfully 80s!

    Great movie, great song.

  • I'm 27 years of age so in truth I missed the 80's first time round but the first video I ever owned was Back To The Future. To this day I think there is something wonderfully charming about the John Hughes, Brat Pack, Michael J. Fox era of Cinema. We don't get any Ferris Bueller or Marty McFly's anymore. Their charm is permanent. And here Michael J. Fox (opposite Supergirl ) in his pomp, taking on Manhattan from the mail room up. Let Cinema ensue. Brilliant. And an iconic Power Ballad to boot.

  • Saw them on this tour with The Outfield opening.,,,,,,Great show and one of my best memories of my teen years!!!

  • The 80's Rocked! One of the best movies ever!

  • THIS ISNT DAY BOW BOW

  • Night ranger's Awesome and Michael J. Fox is awesome, so when you bring them together its epic. Great song and a great movie(my favorite movie of all time). The movie had more songs worth listening to also.

  • The 80's. Those were the days! TSOMS never gets old. Michael J. Fox ruled the '80's.

  • Ah it was great to grew up in the 80's, time goes so fast, it was great days. I am getting old :(

  • spcfsu - Agreed - it was great growing up in the 80's. There are a lot of detractors saying it was all bad music, bad fashion, etc. - but for those of us who lived it, it was great. It certainly was a hell of a lot more upbeat and positive than the pre-packaged boy-band / girl-pop-singer and other crap that passes for entertainment and "music" today. Old? Nah... "Age is a matter of feeling, not of years."

  • @spcfsu not getting older, you are getting better....at least that is the way I look at it :)

  • @spcfsu I hear ya my friend. Turned 40 in March and the 80's did rock.

  • @spcfsu ,man never say ' I am getting old", or you'll be .LOL

  • This is awesome but I don't think it's possible to 'get it' unless you grew up with it. Now I'm going to keep drinking and youtube loads of dodgy 80s cartoons too.

  • Another example of 80s soundtrack songs totally kicking ass!!!! This is up there with Back to School-Jude Cole, Winner Takes it All-Over the Top-Sammy Haggar, and Holiday Road-Linsey Buckingham-Lampoon's Vacation! Thanks for the post!

  • Gran peli y gran tema. Me acuerdo de crio jejejeje.

  • Dude! This song fucking owns! I love Night Ranger!

Any who speak ill of the 80s must be silenced!

  • I agree with you completely. I love Night Ranger too.

  • COOL, TOMMY AND VINCE FROM THE CRUE :18

  • Its amazing how a video like this looked so modern and correct in 1987, but today it looks so cheesy. The song is still cool though.

  • 2:59 , her nipple shows LMAO...shocked this wasnt some huge controversy in its time

  • Your eyes are better than mine, looks like maybe the aerola - plenty of skin, that's for sure.

  • You're seeing things that are not there

  • Remember when people in music groups actually played instruments?? ;)
