  • that backing was huge! are those actual recording stems or did you play everything out? is there a site with stems available for purchase?

  • Just a little heads up! If you make your tracks with Gargeband on a mac and export the audio file to the iPad, the import is done through the apple loops icon next to the volume slider.

Jamal - You're awsome man! You've helped my ministry out tons!

  • Jamal, thanks for posting this. I was having a bit of trouble importing my audio - but now no more! :) Thanks again mate. Great job!

  • Hey broths u isn't need add import all those..all had to d0 was tap on the purple area and it will say duplicate track..and to make bars longer look in left hand corner where it looks like a puzzle piece..hope that help..I see you were new to this..hope everything. Goes well..good videos too..chow

  • Asr in the back!

  • You should be able to turn off auto measure detection, then add more measures

  • @Ten25zerosix Garage band works on the iPhone! It's the same process.

  • Hey now that you got backing tracks on the iPad....maybe you should try and do backing tracks on the iPhone!? Shoot I would like to see a video on that. Because not everyone has a iPad but everyone does have a iPhone! so if you can do a video on this that would be cool!

  • Hmmm... the auto looping thing is weird. I use Garageband on MacBook and never had that issue. I don't know what's up with the iPad version. Awesome video, though!!

  • Multitrack DAW and Meteor are apps in the AppStore for your ipad you still get to use your finger!!

  • You tried sampletank on the iPad yet? If u did what do you think of the sounds?

  • @craigkeys4 Not yet...I plan on it.

  • Why don't you try using other apps that's more suited for this kinda stuff? Like "Multitrack DAW" has 24 tracks with eq, compressor and fxs on every track or "Meteor Multitrack Recorder" has 12 tracks with all kinds of fx and operates like protools. I've been doing this for a while now!!

  • @craigkeys4 One issue with using a DAW is who do you switch between sessions. That's a lot of memory to load 12-songs for a concert all loaded up at the same time. In addition, I prefer using my finger.

The video is just trying to demonstrate a different way...not saying one way is better than the other.
