  • Norwegian winter dawg, madness!

  • That polar bear could rip that dog in half instantly if it wanted. The polar bear is enjoying the lulz. The people who let the Polar Bear get so close to their home - hanging out their window, also have a death wish. Can't they see the dogs barking? Because the dog understands NATURE. Facking stupid humans

  • I find it very revealing that the chained dog is much more paranoid/aggressive then the polar bear!! All i can think of : FUCK THE WHITE MAN!!!

  • GET THE DOG IN QUICK..............

  • No retreat. No surrender.

  • This is "Sparky".... the dog with stainless-steel balls!!

  • GREEEAAAT.... great dog :) Never seen before..

  • Дайте рыбу товарищу...

  • wow dog is a brawler 4real

  • Почему не стреляли, когда медведь напал на собаку?

  • @KOMRAD8 Ето собака на него напала ))) А вообще если бы он ей лапой махнул ,то важатого бы долго искали...

  • 01:03 in this moment - human play with fire

    very danger situation

  • he just wanted friends... he could have wrecked that dog!!! forever alone bear...

  • that dog got some skills

  • That bear was being nice. It could have wrecked the fuck out of that dog if it wished it.

  • that dog was very very very lucky that day, cos that bear wasn`t in mood for fight

  • polar bears mostely do not have hostility towards dogs, that's why this polar bear had no intention to kill the dog even if it was bitten. The dog attacked the bear because it was sceared and tried desperately to attack the bear. It had no other choice. The dog knows it was chained so it had no other option than attacking instead of giving the impression that it was afraid.

  • those people need to rethink that idea of looking out the open window with the bear right below. For real. Even the dog knows it's a stupid idea.

  • it looked like the bear actually was trying to be peaceable towards the dog

  • why cant they let their dog to attack a tiger or any big cat, you know why.

  • @marionetemanJ show me any evidence or proof..... There is none, there is probably events in history that have been loosely linked to the bible but if you look hard enough youll always find things that aernt really there, your no better than the Islamic fanatics

  • brave to let your dog out there with this sort of bear...that dog is luck he is so aggressive and the bear is probably not hungry.

  • lol poor bear, he just like

Yo nigga.. Chill I just want a salmon..dont need to be hostile..

But that polar bear cud totally rip that thing in half XD

  • грёбаные пиндосы, кули собаку на привези держат!

  • i would imagine a polar bear a bit bigger then this, maybe he is young, he certainly was very nice or that dog wouldn't be alive

  • @labratbunny this is exact size of a polar bear.and yes, dog is lucky to be alive

  • polarbear just don't want a furball as dinner ..he likes juicy fishy like dogs :p

  • Polar bears are sooooooooo cute...

  • Are polar bears not aggressive and are much friendlier? A black bear or grizzly wouldve attacked those dogs. What's that about? Are polar bears different in that perspective?

  • @IHATEPRUANE2FOREVER1 black bear will alot of times scare off, grizzly would of if it where hungry. But their are few cases of these dogs on chains being killed by polar bears.on the brain scale they surpass ape. and a attack to the nose of a bear is the best deterrent since it holds alot of response towards its brain.

  • if the bear really wanted to he would fuck that dog

  • The man has a death wish lol as much as I love these animals I think it's safer to stay away.

  • That's a beast dog

  • жалко медведя;((((

  • That dog has balls.

  • What a poor bear: the dog grabs the bears nose and does not let go. He shakes the bear from side to side biting in his nose, I bet the bear has a torn nose. I feel sorry for the bear!!

  • @doreenproos I dont think he even noticed it much... a bear has a very thick skin... otherwise he would be much more pissed off and would have fought back...

  • @Fuchur84 You could see that the beer was completely bougt out of balance by the dog attack. I am sure if there had been a pack of (loose) dogs it would be an unhappy end for the bear.

  • @doreenproos Sure the dog was attacking... and a few of them may have been chances against a bear, but one is just not enough... and it doesnt matter really, because the bear is not attacking... he is trying to communicate...

  • Dog was just playing too, his tail was wagging like crazy.

  • @beaner215 polar bears dont understand what the dog is doing, moron. wagging his tail dont do much to that bear. dog was out to kill the fucking bear. Dog 1 - polar bear ZERO!

  • @slayer11010 Reading comprehension son, if the dogs tail is wagging, the dog isnt angry or threatening. What the bear is thinking is anyones guess.

  • @slayer11010 very stupid thought... if the bear wanted he would get that dog down... but the bear is friendly and very likely curious or lonely and like that tried to come in contact... the question is why...

  • man svalbard is acool name that dog is awsome

  • man!!! now i knew that s even with out using claws canids are very strong that bear was just out played !!!!!!!!!

  • i went from bears hugging wolves to this.. o.o

  • ESE PERRO TIENE HUEVOS

  • tadinho do ursinho! =(

    0:51 cute xD

  • i <3 polar bears :D they're awesome! polar bears are 1 of the very few animals that can compete with big cats ehen it comes to beauity. also, if the bear wanted to, it could turn the dog into jelly, but a dog is insgnificant to a creature as incredible as a polar bear, si it didn't even bother to attack, if it did, the dog would be dead. i <3 huskys, but i love polar bears more

  • you see the bears are kinde

  • ofc polar bears are incredibly dangerous, but they are just normal animals who want to play and it doesent have many real enemies

  • Suicidal dog ...The polar bear just wanted to play. If it was ungry and wanted the dog has a meal, the dog couldn't have done nothing :P But polar bears rarely eat dogs , they dont even know what they are...They just know about white fox, maybe they're just curious.

  • Seems as if the bear was more curious/friendly than attacking

  • at 1:06 bear is like : damn i can't get this guy...

  • he just wanted to make friends))

  • aww.................poor the bear. it seems like he only just wants to make friend ;/

  • that bear is sooooo cute and the dogie tooo but the bear is cuter

  • bear: aww cute dogie good dogie

dog: stand back dont come at me you fuck freak!!

    bear: so cute!!

  • EL NI CASO LE HACE. COMO DICIENDO MI HIJITO si te doy un golpe te parto en dos

  • wow!

  • Poor bear, he just wanted to play !!!

  • savalbard is wicked stron i hate him poor polar bear

  • polar bear = forever alone.

  • 0:10 Look! someone is coming!

0:11 Let's go up to them!

    0:12 Ello, wanna be friends?

0:13 -dog bites polar bear in the those- FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU!

  • it is playing with the dog :)

  • Dog's boss

  • 0:50 thats the most terrifying thing i have ever seen...

  • that should be the photo beside courage in the dictionary!!

  • Amazing. Shows what little I now about Polar Bears - and perhaps dogs too. How the hell does a dog get away with clocking a Polar Bear across the nose ?

  • if the bear really wanted to he would fuck that dog uuuupppppppp

  • @Discosa yes but he doesn't need to and so doesn't, humans still have a lot to learn!

  • @Discosa you mean he would fuck twenty thirty dogs at the same time

  • @KANGALISTHEKING this is not about who is stronger... just watch it again: The bear wants to make friends... that is not about any kind of aggressive bear here...

  • @Fuchur84 Ik quite agree. Also the beer was almost knocked down.

  • peace & love

  • Kinda feel sorry for the bear though, especially at 0:35 . It looked like it just wanted to play, but I say this living in a place well away from bears, so I can only imagine what not having guard dogs would do.

  • That's a very good guard dog. I hope you're breeding him.

  • End scene: Maybe should think about safety you maniacs!

  • Thats one badass dog!

  • Stupid dog.

    That polar bear is beautiful:)

  • Bear: "hey man, what's all this hostility?"

  • Coitado do urso, achando que o cachorro era um urso filhote, tomo uma mascada no nariz

  • Almost certain the bear was young and inexperimented

  • it almost looks like the bear wants to play, or something. I am somewhat surprised the bear didn't try to attack the dog. The dog sure is brave. That bear is, in my opinion not really looking to kill something for dinner. He seems to be bored, and looking for something to amuse him. I still would be REAL careful with him around. I suspect it is a young naive bear- although it looks like it is well nourished,.

  • The man at the end is kinda stupid. Does he expect the bear not to attack him because he is still inside a building? I doubt that works.

  • Wow.. I'd love to live and work up there. I would need a woman though! O_O

  • I have seen this on T.V before.....they wonder all over the town.

  • @dollbirdy acctually i live in longyearbyen (the "town") on svalbard and they dont really come in to town. it has happened and both people and dogs have died. but its really rare. in the last 2 months theres been a bear IN town once. and wandering around the outskirts like six times. and one dog has been killed but that was a dog without a leash that ran after the bear. but sure!, i always turn my head around after a few hundred meters just to check. and raindeers wander the streets free..

  • @tryggvesson says a dog was killed by a bear because it was UNLEASHED. I think any healthy dog has a infinitely greater chance of surviving if it is NOT chained. It is almost helpless on a chain, and the dogs cannot work together to face the bear if they are tied to the ground. It should be illegal to let dogs end up in this situation.

  • @7mikethebike if it would have been on a leash then it wouldnt have been able to run out of the dog pound to face the bear in the first place! i understand what your saying but the dogs and the bear really dont like each other and mostly the bear stays away from the dog pounds because of the smell of dogs! the dogs NEVER have a chance to a polarbear.. even if they are 2-3-4 whatever. the polarbear is the worlds largest landpredator.

  • @dollbirdy and they lokk VERY much alike in nighttime when they walk past you. my heart has stoppet one or two times! haha. but its tottally amazing! no place like it.

  • k.o.

  • idiots, that bear is still dangerous.

  • Comment removed

  • He head butted your pooch at :41

  • Of course the bear would win if it was more aggressive but that dog didn't take no shit and was the meaner one that day ALL HAIL WARRIOR DOG!

  • Call the bear to your window and take cute pictures and when the bear smashes the window to get in what thappens to the bear YOU coaxed to your window???!!!!!.....REAL SMART!! animal lovers should KNOW BETTER!

  • @dollbirdy they weren't calling them. They live in the middle of polar bear habitat, so bears will just come up to the houses to investigate.

  • isn't that how people get killed, and then authorities wonder why?

  • poor bear :(

  • polar bears dont seem that aggressive as black bears or grizzleys. i mean that polar bear coulda easily killed that dog

  • that dog have luck on this side

  • This is a normal reaction from all dogs against any intruder, thats why there is dogs on these places in arctic, to warn about polar bear and to scare away the same bear, normally we let loose several dogs, but sometimes it is enought with only one, like this one, Aki.

  • @peodd And to get eaten first!

  • @peodd And to get eaten first! One of our dogs got eaten by a bear in Greenland!

  • @peodd

Yeeowch! Your dog knows where to grab! But if the bear were in a serious killing mood wouldn't Aki be helpless being on a chain?

Help me out here. I recall reading somewhere that then little-known Karelian Bear Dog (Karelsk Bjornhund) underwent a bit of a breed renaissance on Svalbard after more protective laws against shooting Polar Bears were passed in 1973. They have become quite popular here among game managers in the Western U.S. to drive off "problem bears".

  • @peodd what breed are this dog please reply

  • @MsAllah666 Either Siberian Huskies or Norwegian Elkhounds

  • that dog was not playing

  • Seriously the owner of this dog must have been one special kind of idiot... he deserves to be eaten alive by this very polar bear ->

Also a lot of people say that this dog is stupid.... dogs are not generally afraid of other animals and will because of that not be afraid of most animals no matter their own size. Surely they are not intelligent in comparison with humans but this dog is most likely more intelligent than it's owner >.<

  • Polar bear: I just wanted to be friends, mean dog :*(

  • At first I thought the dog was stupid, but apparently, polar bears like to play with dogs and wolves...really play. Where I'm from, bears hate dogs and would kill any dog dumb enough to do this

    Dog: Bark!

Polar Bear: WTF! Wanna Piece of Me?!?

Polar Bear: Fine I Didn't Wanna Eat You ANYWAYS! :O

  • try lettin your dog fight a tiger or a black bear and lets see what happens

  • He was just playing the dog. Those bears eat refuse and are well fed. They don't want to eat dog.

  • 0:44 mmmmm that dog was deeeeeelicious

  • poor teddy, all he wanted was some love....

    mean doggy....

  • Polar bears are so beautiful.

  • I think the Polar bear had other shit to do then whack some retarded dog.

  • That is one brave/stupid dog!

And who is the idiot who almost gave up their dog to the bear to eat?

  • that is one laid back bear

  • That is just the cutest bear ever.

It could`ve ripped that dog to shreds in seconds if it wanted to.

  • No! I don't want any Girl Scout Cookies! FUCK OFF!!

  • Why protecting the house from bears? They even didn't attack

  • @KeybladeKorney That is just one incidence. I read in the news about 3 weeks ago that some kids(yes kids, from some school in norway) went out camping in svalbard(really, camping, with a tent and everything) and they were in two seperate tents. The other tent had a gun and the second didn't. Then one night when they were sleeping a polar bear "walzed" into the camp with no gun and attacked everyone there. Everyone who lives on svalbard needs to have a gun and always be prepared. They are not nice

  • @Varghalur Its also said that bears do tend to choose the tents that dont have gun in them. Alot people think they might be able to pick up the scent over adapting to being hunted.

  • hope insurance covers polar bear damage to you house.

  • the dog used all its strengt on that polar bear XD. the polarbear probably just played with the dog.

  • awesome dogs, very vicious :)

  • Polar Bears love to play and socialice with dogs for some strange reason. Its extreme rear that Polar Bears kill them. But it happens. Search for "polar bear pulverizes sled dogs".

  • brave dog .

  • dogs are one of the bravest animals out there

  • Polar bear: Let's be friends!

Dog: I will eat your nose! :P

  • poor bear he was just tryong to be friends lol

  • The bear just wanted to play! I wouldn't play with it though!

The dog had to at least try and defend itself! it was actually pretty smart!

  • Polar bear just got owned.

  • Epic Dog! ;-) I want one!

  • polar bear can slash open a dog but dog can bite can not let it go dog are fast but polarbear slow but strong

  • @robinhoot133 Polar Bears arent slow, theyr actually really fast :)

  • A polar bear would kill ANY dog if not a whole lot at once. Stupid dog that polar bear could kill it in half a second.

  • fuck that bear up

  • Dogs are stupid animals in general in my opinion. And this dog in particular is very very stupid. That polarbear could easy smach that dog in a secund. Dogs never think before they act, they are plain stupid.

  • seems like that Dog has HUGE Balls...na or a very small Brain..

  • The dog was trying to Eskimo kiss the bear

  • LOL

I guess the bear was so used to have no resistance (because they are so big and strong and ferocious) and the dog was so used to fight with other dogs for food.

  • more likely that the bear just was curious and the dog as all dogs do reackts when a predator comes by

  • Amazing images!
