I have very large skin pores that I struggled to cover up and hide. Clinique pore minimizer made them look white and even more noticeable. For those enlarged pores I found concealapore is an invisible pore concealer that works to completely hide these tiny holes. Good tip for those that are embarrassed with large visible skin pores.
See the thing is though that your skin already looks really nice. I have a foundation just like that but its a different brand and it does look really nice but I have some redness and the pores on my cheeks are big and it doesnt hide it at all.
My Clinique foundation is almost gone ~ and now I need a new one. I remembered this video you posted and also that you had switched to Revlon from Clinique. So, is this foundation still working well for you? Are you glad you switched, and did it cause any break-outs or anything? Just wondering before I go buy some. Plopping down 25 bucks or so on foundation isn't an option anymore!!
Hi, if you are looking for thicker coverage, then Clinique will give you that. If you like something lighter on your skin that just blends so nicely but doesn't look like you are wearing foundation and more importantly feels so light, then the Revlon is definitely worth a try. I love it and do prefer it to the Clinique. I just don't feel like I'm wearing heavy foundation and the coverage is wonderful. Give the Revlon a try. Save your receipt because you can always return it!
Hey i have been watching your videos and i love them, they are all really helpful. I use this foundation as well and its amazing, its just the right coverage and feel. Thanks for making such great videos.
but i always use that primer with my foundation. It leaves like you said a silky feeling to your skin. I'm running out of that primer, but it lasted me a year. :]
I have combination skin and it works great on my oily areas. You should continue using your mineral powder as well. I always dust my face with powder after applying any foundation. It really helps set it and guard against oil buildup.
Do you like it better than Clinique? I have used Clinique SuperFit for many, many years and have never had any breakouts like I did from the less expensive foundations. However, with the co$t of it, I sure would like to find something more inexpensive. Surely they have come up with a good foundation that is inexpensive after all this time! Maybe this is it??! Keep us posted on how your skin reacts to longtime use of the Revlon, please!!
Hi, that's a tough call. I love Clinique foundation too and like you have used it for years. I would say if you want something weightless then give the Revlon Beyond Natural a try. I have found that I usually have to add water or skin cream to my Clinique to thin it out and make it less heavy, so I really enjoy the ease of the Revlon and the way it self-adjusts to match your skin tone. I feel more comfortable using the Revlon all over my face and not just certain spots.
Thanks for the recommendation! Someone already asked if it would be suitable for oily skin. I have the same question! Also , what powders do you recommend for touch-ups especially in the summer, thanks again! :)
Hi, it's definitely suitable for oily skin. It is not labeled as oil-free, but I do have combination skin and have noticed it works beautifully on my oily areas as well as my normal areas. For powders, I absolutely love Clinique Translucent Face Powder. I have been using it for years. It's not great to carry around, so for that I would recommend Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder; it creates a nice flawless finish.
Hi there, thanks for the product review. Which shade did you choose for your skin? And do you think it would be suitable for oily skin? Some foundations only looks good in the morning and half way through the day it looks super shiney, despite me using a primer.
BiaSchoen, I use Revlon ColorStay for oily/combination skin. I don't need a concealer with it...great coverage! I use Loreal Translucide loose powder to set it and whoooolaaaaa! Lives up to it's name.
Hi, I wear Deep Medium. I like a little extra glow because it brings out my highlights. That's one shade darker than my skin. I would say my skin is medium toned. For the summer, I will use Deep for more tan glow. It's definitely suitable for oily skin. I have combination skin and usually always choose an oil-free foundation. This works great too; it has such a nice light feel. I do always dust on a face powder after to set and prevent oil buildup.
One more thing, if you notice shine during the day, you can blot excess oil with a small piece of toilet paper. Just gently press it to your oily areas. Don't sweep it across your face because you will mess your makeup and smear the oil around.
Hi there, As always, I love all of your videos and always checking for the next one. I wanted to ask you, if you use a concealer on any break outs or under the eyes and if so what product do you use? Thank you for sharing your wonderful tips with the rest of us....you're a sweet, genuine lady.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. I do not use a concealer under my eyes. I would recommend Clinique's under eye though because it's light and creamy and doesn't cake into any of your eye creases. For concealer on your breakout areas try Neutrogena or Physicians Formula. They are both terrific because they contain salicylic acid so not only do they conceal, but they heal up your pimples at the same time.
I love all your videos, hope you can recommend more books to read! You are a very smart and pretty woman. Thank you for your sharing!

I think they should. Revlon is world wide as far as I know.
MAC makeup is great. I do use a face powder over this to set it and prevent oil buildup.

but i always use that primer with my foundation. It leaves like you said a silky feeling to your skin. I'm running out of that primer, but it lasted me a year. :]

Hi, thanks so much for sharing your experience with the Revlon Primer. You'll love the Beyond Natural too! Let me know what you think if you try it.

I'll have to try that primer. I have one from Benefit and I hate it.

Is this makeup good for oily skin? My skin is very oily and I have to use a light dusting of mineral powder after I put on my foundation.
