  • i like it

  • Thumbs up if the guy below me is fucking gay

  • thanks for your fast and instructional video my sister made a costume for my nephew and he has the best and only mummy for his school parade.....THANK YOU MUCH

  • The rest up with HOT water, dumb over all fabric, kneading it until you get your desired look..

  • Don't use tea bada they take forever... For a better and faster effect put instant coffee crystals, half way up in a pint glass, filling

  • lol thx, very god, maybe next year with more time, but ill keep it in favourites, nice video, short and full of information

  • WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR???? ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?!

  • @lillyg95 white tennis shoes of some type so it blends in

  • where did you get the tea?

  • love. thanks.

  • all i thought you needed was toilet paper

  • @tinkytina123 LOL!

  • @tinkytina123 Ugh, I've tried making a mummy costume out of toilet paper but it's really frustrating because for me the toilet paper kept ripping or falling off when I would make small movements.

  • 2011 Mummy. Good video. Simple and straight forward.

  • now i need to learn how to use a sewing machine! Dx

  • can you make a robot coustume

  • Awesome!

  • cool i will you it on haloween tomorrow

    !!!!!!

  • already have a cast on my arm so figured im nearly there with the costume...sowing machine bit of a problem tho...

  • what an awesome idea...

  • hey this is perfect for my mom! she loves to buy and sew things for me! she will be so happy when i tell her to do this!

  • thats savage but i think im going to stick to toilet roll...:)

  • ..great job ..please see my videos for more halloween costume ideas and costume ideas for costume parties out there! enjoy watching!

  • That was awesome! Nice job man!

  • for peep sake buy tolit paper it is perfect

  • @PokemonBakuganRule i tried that the day before just to see if it would work but as i walked a bit the toilet paper tore in many places. the whole thing came apart

  • Man... Im so doing this.

Even though I forgot to dye the shirt, I'm up and ready! XD

  • this is way too much work for me but I guess in the long run it's pretty sweet when you gotta go pee!

  • i have a drama play and i have to be mummy do you think its worth doing this or do you think i should just use toilet aper plz reply

  • Hmm i want to be a mummy for halloween but i dont want to stink of tea, do you recomend anything that will stop this? Can the material be washed after dying?

  • and cut all the way down to the cruch... xD

  • god i love goodwill

  • u could do all of that or just get toilet paper

  • nice on emate just what i needed i need a be a mummy in a performance at college and now i can have a good costume lol!!!

  • If I could just suggest corn starch instead of baby powder. It doesn't smell like a baby's butt, and works better in my opinion.

  • I'd prefer it to smell old so burrie it after drying it.

  • You forgot to wrap the hands.

  • thanks! :D

    Ima use this for a school-task :P

  • SICK

  • WOW!!!! i have never sewed a thing in my life. it was good thing because the sloppier you sew the better and more mummy-ish it looks!!!! my mummy costume looks aaaaamazing! i think even better than the one in the video!!! THANKS!

  • mummy smells like baby powder ummmmm

  • We are doing it for this Halloween, but using dust sheets that you use for decorating, they are the perfect colour!! Great video, thanks for giving us the idea!!

  • I dyed it in black tea also, but that's not the same way I'm gonna put my wrappings on. still works though. good job

  • Thank's! I'll do it this halloween! :D:D

  • Use some spray. HEHE!

  • Nice maan :D

  • This man seems like a nice person.

  • Great :D

  • you could also take your white sheets and dig a small hole in dirt (in your back yard) and put the sheets in their and leave them their for a couple minutes and then take them out.

  • Tea Bags LoL

  • You can get sheets of cotton for cheaper and I used a bag of white insulation for a costume I need stuffing for. Worked great!! I actually made a giant Tampon.

  • awesome

  • How about using gauze?!?!!??!

  • ya gathes work awesome!!!!!!

  • gauze would be cool, but then again it would be more expensive. I went to Walmart the other day to look for gauze for another costume and I need LOTS of it. I went to look at the price and it was almost 5 bucks for one roll. The amount I need I might have to spend about 40-50 bucks. So actual gauze for this costume would be insanely pricey.

  • Any kind of bandage would work.

  • Easy? hahahah

  • Fuck this, just use some toilitet paper and u r done!!!!!!

  • yeah some shit that will rip pretty easily and what if it's raining... not a very good idea

  • Ya right on.

  • Toilet paper is the worst use.Falls off easily and rips easily.Use a streamer or grab white sheeets and cut them up.

  • cool mummy costume!

  • alot of sewing but worth it if you want a nice costume and want it on the cheap

  • this looks like it could be a good way to figure out how to make a gilly suit just get different dyes or teas maybe? and add some leaves and such

  • u look and sound like Spikeydrummer, u know the guy in the tiger outfit. are u him?

  • wow, i could never do so much sewing. can't you just........get one from the store?

  • sweet

  • threadbanger is all about doing it diy and on the cheap asshole!

  • diz wiil take sooooo long

  • you dont need to color it up

  • thats pretty awsome

  • That's a good idea! Thanks!! :D

  • nice! we used a painters sock or a cheap belaclava for the head.dont forget bugs!

  • Pretty awesume, that guys pretty cool :)

  • TOO MUCH WORK MEN!

  • you dont need to color it up

  • Cool and cheap... but like all the do-it-yourself ideas, you need so many damned tools that I never have. Seam remover? Easy to manage without. Bucket... check... SEWING MACHINE? Single guy in his own house = no sewing machine. Guess I'll have to keep looking for more ideas :(

  • you could try super glue or hot clue if your gonna make the mummy costuem. Unless you are going to wear it again

  • Just buy a few cool costumes from wallmart or zellers, then take them apart and mix them together, this year i'm going to a party dressed as a grim reaper, i used an old scream robe, a full face skeleton mask, and 2 rings of plastic chains

  • or buyi one for 20 dlls

  • WOOWW fuck idea!!!

este video apesta como la ropa suciaa de anoche deakk!!

    hare mi propia ideaaaa!!

  • THanks.... i´ll try it this halloween

  • that was cool!

  • wow

  • hey i was making a mummy costume first!!!....hax

  • so cool!

  • really great! :D

  • mmmmmm tea clothes xp

  • nice at least it wasn't like you know those mummys that are made of toilet paper

  • that's one bad-ass mummy.

    cool :-]

  • THAT WHAT I SAID FOTUPAWS!

sorry i just felt the needs for caps

    great minds think alike ayy?

  • I'm going as macho man. I'm gonna get a bright yellow or orange shirt (preferable both tie died) and cut slits like you did on the cloth, just on the arms on the shirt though. Then i'll write Macho man on the front and randy savage on the back. wear jeans and a orange/yellow bandana on the head. some thick sunglasses and hopefully a glittery cowboy hat. I'll carry a slim jim, oooooo yeah!

  • I am doing a project on egypt and our goup is doing mummification. We shall have to do a presentation and I am going to be the mummy. I love the idea! I will be some "kick ass" mummy!

  • No video of the finished product?

  • That's a lot cooler than the dum store-bought mummy costume my aunt gave me.

  • LOL

  • darn i thought it was just tissue paper

  • MUMMY IS AHSMED OF YOU!!!

  • NO CUSSING

  • hey i was a mummy for Kent Ohio's Fest CAUSE THIS VIDEO INSPIRED ME TO BE A MUMMY THANKS IT LOOKED AWESOME!!!

  • chesney...would love to see some pics

    -rob

  • Hey if you know how to do Alvin&the chipmunks costume please upload it.

  • @Chesney1986 Which fest did you go to in Kent? I'm from Ohio too. There are so many festivals that we have going on. haha

Have you been to Dent Schoolhouse? AWESOME haunted house.

  • I made a mummy costume, but we didn't teabag it, and we hotglued on the strips. We also did a belaclava, and it looked awesome!

WARNING: This took us FOREVER to do

  • wow!! very creative. i like the tea bag look

  • yeah i agree with itsssxannie.

    a girls pirate costume!

    costumes cost way to much.

  • wow. :D

    that's really good!

  • wow thats really cool, too bad I'm already starting on my costume. Oh and... you said crotch.

  • this is sooo cool!

i was too late to vote on the polls but it would be great if you guys would make a pirate costume for girls.

the ones in the stores are wayy too expensive and it would be really cool to have a costume that no one else has! :-D

  • You'd be a ver Fragrant mummy!

Great idea, for the colour desired.

    Very Cool.

  • dear rob, you're freaking awesome. kthx

  • A great costume.

  • mummies are generally older than a century, by about 5000 years

  • egypt only goes back 5100ya. and i believe mummies are developed much later in late middle kingdom or new kingdom so i dont see how it could be older by than a century by 5000 years =.=

  • thanx captain PBS

  • cool costume

  • coolio cat

  • pretty cool!

  • Awsome!!

i love this one super cool xDDDD

  • sweet reusable mummy costume... beats wrappping toilet paper around yourself.

  • that was so freaking cool, not to mention super duper creative! I didnt even want to be a mummy, but I do now :)

  • Awesome!

  • as a last second option you can also wear black leggings and a fitted black high neck top. I used gauze to wrap all aroud and some light glue gun to tack here and there to the clothing. That was before I could sew. The fabric bands and stain is fabulous.Maybe it can just be tacked so the clothing needs less sewing.

  • That's pretty freaking cool.

  • Absolutely fabulous!! As always thanks guys for the great ideas!!! 8)

  • super cool!

  • OMG taht rocks hard! i am totally gonna be a mummy for halloween!

  • wow!!!...im glad i subscribed to this...

  • i would never have thought of the talcum powder...

    genius...

  • But don't use baby powder or you will smell sweet like baby lotion.

  • i luvvvvv this!

  • Haha that is great...

But seems like it would take a lot of time.

  • i wish i had time to do that

  • that was awesome you guys are so clever!!

  • haha, thats awesome

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love it will try this next year.

  • coool!

  • Awsome!, you Should make tihs a vid response To the mogul Pumkin Vid!

  • cuteee! <3

  • cool

  • Baller.

  • kool

  • You never cease to amaze me.

  • Wow, that is a lot better then the "wrapped in toilet paper" look i was going for.

  • true-- and you won't be wasting toilet paper..

just think about those sad people on toilets.. with nothing to wipe with. :[

    lol

  • too cool!!!

  • RayJay09....it was definitely a time consumer, however since uniformity wasnt really a factor it went pretty quick...minus the dye job it took a solid 3-4 hours to make...i spaced it out over a couple days so it wasnt that bad. But this is totally going to be my halloween costume now after I saw it turned out so rad.

  • That's useful, thanx!

  • nice xD

  • wooow impressive

  • magnifico!!!!

  • i love it!

    cant wait till next wednesday!

    :D

  • AWESOME!
