Hahaha. What's happening now? Iran is now selling Euros for the dollar. So much for your theory. The dollar has been rallying. And no, this oil price in Euro or Dollar does not matter. What matters is the demand for the currency regardless of what currency oil/gold/gum/apples are priced in. That is the stupidest crap I've ever heard of.

Yeah, 2 months ago, Russia Today they had an article on the BRIC conference Brazil, Russia, India and China. They were discussing what currency would work best in the post dollar world.

US currency has too much debt attached to it and isn't really a viable instrument. Today it went mainstream so for most of the people out there, buy gold. It's going to retain it's value as our fiat currency dies, it will not recover, Hyper-inflation is next so buy some canned food for next year.
