Ok. I'm trying to understand this: When the original Enterprise self-distructs, everything under the deck plates blows up?...and they where living and working under all those "explosives"???? Where do I enlist? LOL.
@tymbershade Yup, that's what you call a self destruct system, its necessary to prevent an enemy from stealing your technology, so it needs to be there as a last resort
@smith3451 i'm just thinking to myself here and i know nothing of trek mechanics but maybe cuz inside the core there are forces at work such as a balance between matter and anti matter... particles of which the universe is made... and when they come into contact with one another, such as when containment fails they produce tears and rips in space exponentially and oval shaped (universe shaped) resulting in a catastrophic explosion damaging anything occupying the surrounding aforementioned space
@edelmar17 nah I've thought about it and the anti-matter from the war core has to go somewhere right? so it just disperses outwards. so, a shockwave...
@smith3451 true, but then if it just disperses outward... why is there a huge explosion? I was thinking along the lines of Angels and Demons when they create just one antimatter particle and it comes into contact with matter causing that explosion up in the clouds, it was huge! and now imagine the warp core full of hundreds if not thousands of antimatter particles and when containment is breeched and they come into contact with matter = warp core breech boooom
@gargoyle2bad4u at 3:50 on the vid clip two miranda class ships get destroyed thats what i meant and at all the other clips seems the miranda class ships always get destroyed
@buidseach sorry...my bad...and it always seems that whenever there's a problem with someone or something that wants to play billy badass...the Enterprise is the ONLY ship in range. Admiral McCoy(encounter at farpoint) said it best..."You treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home."
These were All good,it would be fun to work on star Trek, getting to fall down all the time. I haven't seen part two yet so my prediction for the number one moment
This was pretty good. Unlike other "Trek fans" I love DS9. I thought it was a joy to watch. Voyager had its moments and Endgame was awesome. Enterprise still sucks though. I didn't like how everything was a little sped up.

i like the list except for number 5. the ending of voyager was fucking gay just like the entire series. the only thing lamer than voyager was star trek enterprise. Fuck Scott Bacula.

All those Federation ships and the Defiant is the only one that makes it?????
And what a shame TNG never had battles like this, but then that show didn't have the problem of dwindling viewer numbers.
Low ratings - introduce multi-ship battles.
Or a sexy Borg.

@buidseach The Enterprise is not a Miranda-class ship. She is a Constitution-class ship.

Best Original Star Trek Moment: Kirk defeats Khan
Best Next Generation Moment: The cliffhanger on the Best of both Worlds part1 & the aftermath of Wolf 359 in part 2.
Best Deep Space Nine Moment: Sisco talks to Capt. Kirk in that episode where they go back in time.
Best Voyager Moment: Where they finally made it home.
Best Enterprise Moment (the prequel series): In the last episode where all the Enterprise captains gave a speech on where no man has ever gone before.

Although, DS9 wasn't a bell ringer either. When ratings got low, the writers added a war.
The same did go for Voyager. WAR. Neither one of these series, including ENTERPRISE, was Star Trek.
