The trunk of a miata is very small. They probably installed it to carry excess cargo that wouldn't otherwise fit in the trunk.

yea idk i went to Wyotech (extremely popular tech school) and just about everyone had those so i just got tired of them, i bought a 454 im going to stretch the chassis on my miata , put a frame under it and when its done it will be a beast

i love these little cars, they are really snappy and responsive, i love my s13 240 but so far the miata has been the funnest stock car i have ever driven, i took one on a "test drive" without the salesmen ;) my acting was good though, i was convincing, but he wanted like 9000 for a 91

Yea I live in Reno and cops are assholes to the max. The cops here will plant shit on you too. I heard of people getting tickets for being too low to the ground when they weren't driving bad or anthing and they were a full inch above the legal limit. As for empty spots for this stuff. I just can't find any. I spent like 8 hours of just driving to every corner of Reno and can't seem to find anywhere to do this. Roads are really bad here and the few decent places are always patroled.
