Since when was the UK the US's closest ally and biggest trading partner? Canada has always sent the most aid for tragedies that happen in the US ie Katrina, 9-11. The US trades with Canada 7 times the amount that they do with the UK. The only thing Canada didn't join the US in was Iraq (apparently a war Obama didn't agree with).
