Why the hell didn't this show go on for 12 seasons and outperform every cop show ever made including every bastard child of L&O and CSI? This is television GENIUS. This is good like The Wire is good. Hell, this is better. God I'm so disappointed that I was too young to watch this when it was on...
You think I'm kidding, but I'm really, really not. I WOULD WATCH THIS FOREVER.

@CrownedWithLaurels If you are serious, then I completely agree! I bought the DVDs online from someone who recorded them. It's even better a show than the songs suggest! If they took the songs out, everyone who loves crime shows would have gone crazy for it, although I think the songs make it even better. :D

I confess. I remember liking this show. It's was very easy to bash it - much like everyone "hated" Conan when he debuted. (It was sooo easy to bash the unknown that followed Letterman) The first time I watched Cop Rock, I thought, that was weird, but I thought it was ballsy and does not deserve to be the 8th worst TV show of all time.
