Worked for me and is very EASY for anybody! Type in ONLY the following on your Firefox address bar (about:config) and press enter.(That's a colon in between words).Enter. Will ask if you're sure, Click" I promise." You'll see your configurations. Scroll down to DOM Storage, which might be in BOLD, If it shows False, right click and then click reset,which will change it to True! I don't know anything about computers, but when I changed it to true, all was fixed using YouTube with Firefox 3.6.12!

I wonder if this happens with HTML5 and Youtube. I can't believe Flash still does this and there's no fix yet after all these years! I hate having to click somewhere to get my keyboard shortcuts working again. Thanks Adobe, no wonder why the iPhone OS doesn't use your technology!

I have another problem. Half of the most viewed/popular screen video icons are blank (white) and I cannot see ratings as they too are blanked out in white. If i click on the ratings section it tells me that I have rated but I cannot see it.

Any recommendations?

This problem is specifically a foreground issue with plugins and applications for firefox 'stealing focus' of key controls, flash is the problem in this case.

since i downloaded firefox 3.0.6 google links bring up starsearchstar which takes me 2 random crap pages take ages 2 load and i have to refresh 5 times b4 youtube videos work and i still have 2 wait 5-10 minuits. now i hav 2 use google chrome which sucks.

All the little annoying flash problems have been fixed on the beta 2. I have no problems with flash now.

infact, what is so wrong about moving your mouse up and clicking? is it like you can barely reach your mouse or is it that you are lazy and cant move your mouse a few inches.

You must click outside the video to make the Ctrl-Tab work.

I guess it's hard for me to explain this problem to people clearly.

This isn't a youtube thing, it's just a silly bug where the tab itself isn't the foreground item but the embedded content on a website becomes foreground, therefore control tab doesn't work anymore.

Annoying.
