Man, that really cuts deep. But only ryan can make that sadistic verse sound really pretty. Can't get enough of his voice. he's got a beautiful tone. And i love how it sounds slightly slurred. His voice is just perfect to sing along to.

...the lyrics in TYV songs seem to repeat too much. They feel really simple and un-Ryan-y. His songwriting feels a bit like it's lost all the magic it had before. All the imagery he used, they way you had to try and interpret his lyrics in your own way... it just doesn't seem to be there on this album and that really dissapoints me :/

when I was a tween myself I really loved PATD. Then I mature musically and listened more indie stuff and I was surprised and happy when I found Ryan Ross's new band. This is much better than PATD. Not very recommended for people who expect this to sound like PATD.

he wrote all of that music. all of it. Ryan started the band. Brendon came in two years after the band was created. Ryan was Panic At The Disco. He still is in my opinion.
@RyderRocks73 they are working on new material. the album is due to drop in early 2011. they recently said, back in July, that the drums, percussion, bass, and guitar were finished.
It's just so poser-ish. Panic kept the good singer and Young Veins got the Beatle wannabe. They cleaned up his voice on this, but if you listen to Live in Chicago by Panic, he's not that great. The Beatles have a bajillion songs. Listen to that.

Ryan Ross never fails to impress someone. They still make great songs. It is just way different from Panic! At the Disco. In fact I could put these songs on my ipod just like I would with Greenday or Beatles.............. Put ALOT of their songs on it!

Some of you guys are kinda stupid, ya know. Ryan and Jon leaving didn't change P!aTD's style, since they left a year after their second studio album. Anyway, I agree with mathiaspoulson, this music is awesome, but it's just not what's going to be popular (I'm not saying it won't, but those days are over). And hopefully, P!aTD's next album will be like "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out".

i think they're amazing together or apart. ryan is an amazing writer. him and john make really good music; that's all that matters. of course panic was amazing but the old panic was a passing. ryan changed his life. and that girl too. sad to say.... i do hope they would get back together but i love their music either way <3

when I was a tween myself I really loved PATD. Then I mature musically and listened more indie stuff and I was surprised and happy when I found Ryan Ross's new band. This is much better than PATD. Not very recommended for people who expect this to sound like PATD.

Ryan's voice sounds nice and it's good to hear this genre...to know it's still out there. I remember when it was a 'war'. So honestly, I don't know why you're going on and talking about it. Everyone has an opinion, no one is right or wrong when it comes to music and what I'm so tired of is when people comment on videos just to complain about other commenters :)

Ryan Ross WAS patd's music and sound.
he wrote all of that music. all of it. Ryan started the band. Brendon came in two years after the band was created. Ryan was Panic At The Disco. He still is in my opinion.

@RyderRocks73 they are working on new material. the album is due to drop in early 2011. they recently said, back in July, that the drums, percussion, bass, and guitar were finished.

It's just so poser-ish. Panic kept the good singer and Young Veins got the Beatle wannabe. They cleaned up his voice on this, but if you listen to Live in Chicago by Panic, he's not that great. The Beatles have a bajillion songs. Listen to that.

It seems like they're trying too hard to be a band that can never be effectively copied. I felt this way about the last panic album too, even though I did basically enjoy it. Even when the music's good I have trouble accepting this sound.

They sound like they could have been a band of that time, but they are so much more than just a Beatles cover band. I really wish people would stop comparing. Wow, there is pretty much nothing I enjoy about this group. It's just an extremely cliche and uninspired sound with some very mediocre songwriting. Seriously, if you're going to copy a 55 year old sound verbatim, you better be able to craft some amazing songs or you're going to be a waste of time. Why listen to a weak new version of a great old band? I'll take the old band.
