  • WOW. this is amazing. so strange to think it was only a few years ago I was helping you out with your short films, you've come such a long way since then. so proud :D Kerry xxx

  • that was good

  • so beautiful

  • powerful stuff

  • wow..BRILLIANT.

  • Wonderful film.

  • Another film to make you think. You are all quite talented.

  • exceptional yet again. So bittersweet.

Alot of talent to be found here.

    Well done, (:

  • amazing job as always

  • All of your films seem to have really low volume. Does it have to do with the camera?

  • Interesting

  • absolutely exceptional film. short but to the point, and brilliant. i love you guys. you have so much talent.

  • Beautiful and sad. You are very talented film makers.

  • Great cinematography.

  • Wow! Great film. Very sad. Could have used some music.. but really well shot!

  • :( thats so sad.

  • Goodbye...

    ='{

  • I believe Eddie Dylan is about to reunite himself with his late wife... :)

  • i liked how it didn't have any diologe it allowes the viwers to come up with their own story eventhough we all get the idea of the short film....good job i loved it and it portrays lots of emotions.

  • why was this re-uploaded again?

  • wow,... that's sweet and sad to, even though the man was speechless it speaks through the heart it made me cry inside

  • I like the idea. When a spouse dies in a marriage and they are old/retired people, it's common that the one left behind dies shortly after. Not suicide though...

  • very sad. very sweet. good job !

  • GAH! I can't get my comment to post.... Anyways, I liked what you had, there was nothing wrong with it, it just could use a bit more story if you remake it. As for the bird, I didn't even notice it until someone mentioned it in the comments. I say keep it in, it's a natural sound to be there.

  • Hm.. I think the story that you have going on is pretty interesting.

While watching the video though, I found that the random bird chirping kind of distracted a bit from the sort of seriousness that was there. Maybe have an instrumental background, and darken the colors to show sort of the "degeneration with age"?

Of course.. I'm just the random youtube person commenting on this video, and you guys are the ones that ultimately get to decide. Love the concept though. xP

  • I disagree i liked the bird chirping, its real.

  • Well.. I agree that the bird chirping sounded real, but considering how almost silent the part on the train was, having the bird chirps coming in loudly just sounded sort of out of place (to me, at least).

  • wow, really well done, but when the title pops up in the movie, make it halfway come up when half the screen is dark from the shadow of the bridge, and then the other half of the title comes up as the clip fades.

    just a suggestion

  • ruined

  • the ending does not teach anything. sure its possible but we dont want movies that are realistic thats what real life is for. we want movies that show what we should strive for. but i respect your choices anyway.

  • neoknux009 - valid point, but i'm used to writing and directing films that are effusive and/or hyperreal exaggerations of reality ('how to say i love you' & 'olivia explorer' as examples) but loneliness (especially through old age) is a subject that really affects and touches me, and sometimes you just can't turn a subject so sad in to a film with a happy ending. that's just my decision for this film, but thanks for your opinion.

    - hayley stuart.

  • it's beautiful :) I wanted you guys to post it sooner so I could put it into my faves. :) Nice.

  • that was great! only the ending depressed me ]:

  • really nicely done. i loved it. :D

  • Nicely made!

  • This was great .

  • Superb!

  • that was great!

  • I loved this, but I didn't like how it implied that he would then jump from the bridge.

  • wth? You ruined it! I didn't even start watching it (I was waiting for it to load, scrolled down and saw this comment) Thanks a lot.

  • stupéfier. beau. tragique.
