Just for your information, there has never been a recorded case of death directly caused by cannabis. In fact, to get it to kill lab rats, they had to inject them with about the equivalent (if you scale it down for a mouse's smaller body) of 20000 joints worth of the active chemicals, and even then only about 20% died. However, you are correct that the full effects aren't entirely known, possibly partially because it's a controversial topic that many scientists don't want to touch (or research).
