  • WOW. Incredible acting. I hope he makes it to Hollywood. Good job man. This "gentlebarn" gimmick is really working for you.

  • @Locustx925 He's not acting. He's just one of the few REAL men in this world who has a heart and has a passion for something. He works tirelessly to help out these animals. What you saw wasn't a gimmick; it was real footage of a cow dying because of people like you whom cause their suffering.

  • This is the video that made me give up dairy for life. I was sitting in my office chair, in front of my computer, & as I watched this, I was literally in the process of miscarrying a chid of my own. As I miscarried my first child, with this video playing before my eyes, the shocking similarity between me & Angel awakened every cell in my body. This was one of the greatest "aha" moments of my life. I wept.

  • I want to say that coming from a Dairy family not all calves are made into veal. Yes the calves are taken away from the dams but the kids of the family tend to do the feeding for the calves (under guidance of course) and dairy kid treat the calve really well give them names and pet them talk to them take them to the county fair (which is cow spa in terms of treatment :) ) to say WE ALL treat our cow horrible is offensive and not right! 24 months and the heifers are plenty mature to calve easily.

  • @tripletshiner And I want to comment that we have Heifers calving at 2 years old with no issues. Angel's probably died it looks by her udder 3 months or so early cause she hasn't freshened yet or had time to flip into proper birthing position. breach is hard on even 4th time cows but to a 1st time heifer is all most impossible. I am sorry about your lose, loosing calves is hard but the heifer to is all to scary. I am not for abusing animals and give them all respect.

  • @tripletshiner

It's not just about the calves that are treated horribly- what about the mother who loses her child? I'm only 14 and much to young to have a child but I still cannot imagine the immense pain of having your baby taken from you like that. The milk is for the calves. Not us.

  • This is a prime example why people should drink SOYA MILK. ITS HEALTHIER & TASTES GREAT! I thank god Angel was with you at the end. Hell awaits her abusers!

  • I wish I could come work for you guys.. I love what you are doing!

  • RIP dear Angel, You didnbt deserve that :(

  • God Bless you sweet Angel be with your baby and be free from the tormented life you were brought into, God Bless Gentle Barn for trying to save you...

  • This is so sad, why are people so selfish to have used this animal this way, I'm so sorry for your loss and I know you tried your best to save her.

  • I'm crying. Thank goodness she had you...millions receive no mercy, only considered a cash crop, a miserable existense. Labor is so painful and dairy cows are constantly impregnated and have their unprofitable babies snatched away to be tortured for "veal," and their grief is so obvious and heartbreaking to any normal person. Dairy farming alone, in a just world, would be a serious crime. Thank you, I'm grieving with you...but she's free now, an Angel in Heaven. Vegan for life and love xx Laura

  • so this is angel...it's bitter sweet, to see her last moments, but also to know she felt love before her passing. impregnating a cow, that is practically a baby herself, so they can start making milk that early, just so we can have extra cheese on our burritos?? for shame.
