ive been a pc person since forever, i still own a very nice pc desktop. i just got this same exact model macbook tuesday off craigslist for $200 mb was stuck in boot loading..had my apple friend fix it and did fresh install of leopard 10.6.. must admit really loving this thing! still learning how to use it but i can see me switching to all macs in future!

How's the screen display quality on this MacBook? I'm hearing things about the screen having lower contrast than other Macbooks and the viewing angle being a little low. But since you owned this model, what did you think about the screen on this model? Is it adequate enough for some photo editing say using iPhoto or Picasa? Thanks =D

@petree50 No. If you're talking about the Pro then yes. This one you can get for the same price as the white MacBooks, but they're refurbished. They used to be 1199.99

but since they discontinued it, and sell refurbished ones, it's cheaper, and you save about 300 dollars. Don't be scared to buy a refurbished Mac, they sell them like new!

this model is now basically called the 13 inch macbook pro. Anything in aluminium is a macbook pro (apart from airs), and anything in white plastic is a normal Macbook.

When the guy made this video, it was just called a macbook. This summer apple changed the name to macbook pro, upgraded some specs and reduced the price. It's this same machine just a different name. You can find it in the apple store if you click macbook pro and then select the 13 inch version.

I just got this laptop...im a gamer soo i needed a mac because it cant get viruses from online games like counter strike. The Graphics are soooo nice on the mac. If your more of a person who does not like to game and edit videos and stuff u wouldnt get this. But overall it is the best laptop of all time

We own two macs, but I exclusively use the PCs now days. Macs are great, but they have a target audience and that is the less computer savvy and/or younger generation. Basically, if you don't know where the power button on a PC is, get a mac. PCs are not hackable and you cannot get a virus from a PC unless you intentionally go try to get one.
